The creator, who is responsible for several mystical and esoteric but widely recognized and celebrated releases for the past twenty years, was accused by a collective sum of women of his sexual misconduct and predatory behavior in June 2020, causing shock to his huge fan base given his amazing creations. Especially his threats were targeted at younger women who are vulnerable and people who classify as nonbinary.
He is said to have often manipulated women who are desperate to secure a place for themselves in the comic book industry as he pretends to be a friend or a mentor, even as a partner, faking his true motive and getting what he wants from them only to toss them off once he losses interest which is, eventually. More than 60 women have reported through a website called SoManyOfUs.com.
This website is filled with a plethora of Testimonials of women who were abused in one way or the other by Warner Ellis, with precise details of when, where, and how as the why is for Warner to answer. The writer has misused his power and fame to set a trap for women to fall with his extraordinary profile. After the spread of these allegations, the writer disappeared from his social media platforms for a while and even ended his email newsletter.
The website states that over the two decades of him being in his position, there are more than 100 people who have been affected by Warner Ellis having groomed to persuade sexual exchanges and private pornography. Thirty-six personal stories are available on the website, where you can read the varying levels the writer has gone to coerce them.
