Case Walker plays the part of Chase Dubek. He is the youngest brother in the Dubek family who has turned successful in only one night after one of his videos went viral on the internet. Ken Marino reprises the role of Streeter Peters. He is the manager for ChaseDream in order to get him deals for the internet and make money. Molly Shannon enacts the character of Pat Dubek. She is the mother of three siblings and is someone who belongs in Hollywood.
Back during the finale of season 2, we saw Pat and Chase getting ready for the fashion show. Chase is not happy with how Brooke is taking charge of his career but is not able to reveal his true feelings in front of the family. Pat is also tired during the show, which is ultimately affecting her health. As for Brooke, she is unable to focus because of her own personal issues. She had broken up with Lance when she did not even know that Lance had broken up with Leah for her.
Coming to the show, Pat passes out on the runway because she is dehydrated. As she is in the hospital, the family tries to visit her. Chase expresses his anger over Brooke and Cary for not being available to him ever. Thus, Streeter comes to save the day as everyone has been working too much, and he organizes a vacation for the family to chill and bond.
