The latest chapter of The Abyss manhwa has just been released and with it comes updates building to the release of The Abyss Chapter 6. Looking at the new information that came with the chapter, Na-Yeon decided to give Hae-on a call even if the president decided to forbid them from talking to each other, so he is a bit afraid to make the call because if the president ever finds out that they are talking then they will be in big trouble. So he decided to make it a quick call but just when Hae-on answers, he asks why she took longer to answer the call.
As Hae-on ask Na-Yeon why he is calling at such a time, this came as a surprise to him because they haven’t spoken to each other in a while. Since Na-Yeon is not well, he thought that Hae-on would answer his call with courtesy. But Hae-on reiterated that she told him to stop calling her. Na-Yeon tells him that everyone is secretly dating except for them and since they like each other then he sees no reason for them not to be friends.
He then tells Hae-on that he won’t let her go and he has been waiting for his call. Even though Hae-on never called back, he asked him if she was not worried about him at all as he missed her. Hae-on then tells him that if he is still thinking like this, then he must be healthy enough and that it’s over between them and he should not call again.

Hae-on drops Na-Yeo’s call as they are no longer allowed to interact with each other by the president. She then took a taxi home but on his way home he was worried that maybe he was too cruel on their call. So he thinks that maybe he should have swallowed his pride and visited him.
Cutting back to the times when the president found out about them. He threw a tantrum and reminded them that they are not allowed to see each other. He also reminded them that they have invested a lot of money in papering and raising their profiles while they have compromising photos taken and created a PR nightmare.
Na-Yeon and Hae-on’s interaction has gotten them in a lot of trouble before and the president has already promised them that there are people who can replace them in the agency if they keep on slipping up like they have been doing. So they had to promise that it won’t happen again meaning that they now have to uphold their promises.
