The show that’s got all Australians hooked onto their televisions will soon release another episode. The newest season is off to a very dramatic start, with major scandals happening right from the very first episode.
Originally aired by Nine Network on 18 May 2015, Married At First Sight Australia has managed to become the favorite show of many households all over Australia and other places. The format of these shows is taken from the original Danish series which goes by the name Gift ved første blik. It involves selecting random candidates from hundreds and thousands of applicants and then forming 10-12 couples based on various relationship parameters.
To make sure that the matches are almost perfect, the show hires a set of well-known relationship experts that analyze each person deeply before making them a couple. For the current 10th installment, the experts are said to be Mel Schilling, John Aiken, and Alessandra Rampolla.
This season has started with about 10 couples, all from different places in Australia. Season 10 premiered on January 30th, 2023, and is expected to have around 7 episodes. The first episode ended up garnering about 840,000 viewers, showing just how much the show was enjoyed by people. The drama, emotion, and feelings MAFS portrays make it very different from other shows of its genre.
Married At First Sight Australia S10 Episode 4: Recap
The previous episodes of MAFS Australia featured the couples uniting in a ceremony that would make them husband and wife for the show. Even if the marriages aren’t legal (Due to Australian Law), they are held to mark the beginning of the marriage period each couple will have to go through.
As the season starts, we see the first couple, Lyndall Grace and Cameron Woods being married. Lyndall had always been the victim of compromised health, but with Australia’s relaxation of few medicines, she is now able to live the life she has always dreamt of. Lyndall is a 27-year-old accountant, while Cameron is a Carpenter of the same age. The duo’s relationship will be interesting to see as Lyndall hails from Perth, and Cameron is from the rural, farming lands in the Northern Territory.
The next couple to be married was Bronte Schofield and Harrison Boon. Harrison had been detected as a player by the bride’s sister, but her guesses were confirmed when one of the guests informed the bride that Harrison had been secretly dating a model outside of MAFS. This causes Bronte’s whole day to be ruined, but she chooses to believe Harrison’s word.
As we see from the leaked texts, Harrison did have a relationship with the model named Abbey, but there are speculations that he was set up by them all along so that they could get their few minutes of fame on national television.
Sandy Jawanda and Dan Hujas were the next couples to be wed. As beautiful as the wedding was, it had some major issues going on with the guests. Dan’s friends were being racist towards Sandy and the Indian wedding decor. They only felt she was “like them” after she joked in an Australian accent. This is a major red flag for Sandy, but based on the news going around the web, Sandy and Dan could no longer be a couple. Dan was found kissing a supermodel on his wedding day with Sandy.

The next wedding was of Claire Nomarhas and Jesse Burford, both in their early thirties. The fifth couple we see being formed on the show is Tahnee Cook and Ollie Skelton, who got to celebrate their honeymoon in Fiji. With Janelle Han and Adam Seed’s wedding, the show has revealed more than half of its couples. After their honeymoons, some of the couples have already started to pick out a few things about each other that they find problematic.
