Sony’s PlayStation Plus has the gaming community stunned. Gamers are enjoying it to their fullest, be it the PlayStation Plus Extra or the PlayStation Plus Premium. Along with its online playing facility, it provides you with games at a discounted rate. Moreover, you get a bunch of free games every month.
That is correct, FREE! FREE! FREE! With games being expensive, this one is a boon to gamers. You get an entire month to obtain the games. So, take it easy if you are unable to snag them straight up since you are not forced to grab your complimentary games right when they are released.
Having said that, you will never lose accessibility to the games if you collect them monthly. The video games remain in your collection regardless of whether you decide to discontinue the service or not. But you will not be permitted to access them without a running membership.
With more and more people getting PlayStation Plus memberships, the curiosity about which games will come up next month keeps increasing. And that is actually the case with every month. So, allow us to cool your overthinking brains.
Let us look at some games we think might make it up to the July 2023 collection of free PlayStation Plus games. Do note these are merely predictions of what we think Sony Interactive Media might release in the July 2023 edition of free monthly games on PlayStation Plus.
Hades
The first on our list of free monthly PlayStation games for June 2023 is Hades. Released in 2020, Supergiant Games is winning the hearts of every game in the community. And we’d be bummed if Sony doesn’t air this gem in the July 2023 release. Hades is a roguelike jampacked with action.
Hades is very similar to any other great roguelike. But also unique on its own. It encourages you to undertake tough choices that either strengthen your present build or compel you to ignore prudence and explore a bolder build.
Each character is interesting to witness. They are all a true reenactment of the widely known Greek mythology. There are side narratives along with fascinating discussions in the course of the game. You are Zagreus, son of Hades, in the video game. Your goal is to flee from the shades. The underworld. Death doesn’t do it for Zagreus since he is immortal, so you face every other possible hindrance while you are trying to escape.
It seems as though Hades is the game; the community has been waiting on for a long time. Sony, hear us out, man. Do your magic! Playing Hades on PlayStation 5 is going to be epic. We can’t imagine how pretty the visuals will turn out! Just beautiful. It will be a real bummer if we do not get this in July 2023 game lineup.

Alan Wake
Alan Wake 2 is coming out this October, and fans think that July’s free game release is the best time to revisit the Alan Wake Part One on PlayStation 5 with the PlayStation Plus subscription.
Just the title of the game triggers spook and paranormal. The two Max Payne games that came prior to Alan Wake were also made by Remedy Entertainment. These guys released Quantum Break. But we are here to talk about Alan Wake. Guys, that rhymes! Moving on!
Alan Wake is the author of the game. While on vacation with his wife, she suddenly disappears. Alan, i.e., you now have to fight those forces who took your wife away and get her back.
The video game has a fantastic 4K resolution that truly makes it shine through, specifically in the daytime sequences with their great mountain backdrop and other picturesque scenery dispersed across the game’s simulation.
The higher quality made it possible for character models to display a far greater level of detail. The video game is divided into scenes, and each of them has a cliffhanger end and summaries at the very beginning of a fresh episode.
Sometimes the intermissions amid episodes are cherished because they are a reminder for us to chill out between challenging and hectic episodes. Do you know what this means? Remedy Entertainment is asking you to turn off the joypad for a while because else we keep straining our eyes for too long and neglect a breather. True to its name, we must say!
Demon’s Souls
Released in 2020, Demon’s Souls is an action roleplaying game. It is about a kingdom called Boletaria which is dictated by the Old One. The bad guy. You being an adventurer, have to explore the six different realms and simply kill the bad guys. Followed by which you defeat the main man, the Old One.
Unfortunately, the video game has a missing spot for a clear-cut story, but it more than makes up for it with the environment, combat, and an unresolved plot that becomes more and more evident as each level is cleared.
Demon’s Souls, unlike other RPGs, is less contingent on instincts and more on getting you to make wise choices both during and outside battle. This is genius. Why, you ask? Well, using your brains during a game equals a different approach to each world. You start to navigate and feel each space in its own special way. And that gets you to ace the level with better performance.
Moreover, the game has incredible graphics. This game is an excellent demonstration of what a PlayStation 5 can add to existing amazing games. The shots are among some of the finest and best-looking. It is hard to miss it on the PlayStation 5. The detail on the props, expressions, debris, and everything is as real as it can get. Imagine enjoying that on your PS5. OOH! Work of art!
Apart from the visuals, the audio, and sound have also been taken care of pretty well. Getting Demon’s Souls in our free monthly games list would be incredible.

FIFA 23
This one does not even need an explanation. And it does not even have a story. It is a football match! As easy as it can get. FIFA was probably the most played when the consoles were introduced. EA has released SO MANY FIFA games by now, but I guess that was not enough. Electronic Arts aired FIFA 23 in September 2022.
Just look at the poster, boys. Who would actually dare not pick FIFA 23? FIFA is so popular that this particular one holds a Guinness World Record for the best-selling sports game. See? Told ya! This one is the most played console game of all. FIFA 23 is also the last video game to be released in this never-ending FIFA series.
Whilst a lot farther progressive and incremental than last year’s jump to PS5 and Series X, FIFA 23’s graphical advancement additionally has an emphasis on fluid hairstyles and waving grass. Instead of real faces, which still differ considerably in terms of execution among cover athletes, it typically appears in animation on the playing field.
As interesting as FIFA can get, this version of the FIFA series promotes a women’s football team. Well, this feature actually exists since FIFA 16, but what is new with this one is that Electronic Arts has added 17 more teams to the game. That is quite a progress. Girl Power!

[UPDATE: The free monthly game list for July 2023 has been leaked and here and the games that finally made it!]
Free PlayStation Plus Monthly Games Revealed
WOOHOO! One of our guesses made it to the July 2023 list. Let us look at the list of free PlayStation monthly games for July 2023. The list consists of three games this month.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold Water
Call of Duty never has a sales slump; it consistently succeeds.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold Water is the sixth video game in the Black Ops series of Call of Duty. Aired in 2020, it is a first-person shooting video game. It all lies in the beginning of the eighties, where Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War takes place. Bruce Thomas portrays Green Beret converted CIA SAD/SOG agent Russell Adler, who is on a 1981 operation to eliminate the Perseus menace of worldwide surveillance. Ooh, risky!
The video game has never seemed as solid or striking as Black Ops Cold Water does. You can play this game’s zombie mode, which is frantic, entertaining, and full of clues and riddles to complete. The multiplayer mode’s maps are outstanding. Many old favourites have been brought back by Activision, and the gameplay is terrific. Following modern warfare, it demands some time to become comfortable, but where’s the fun if every video game has similar rules and tactics?

Endling: Extinction is Forever
The second game on the list was released last year in July. Woah, it’s been a year! Endling: Extinction is Forever is an indie third-person survival game. In the video game, you are basically given the role of a fox. But there is a catch. You are the last mommy fox that is left on the entire planet. And your task is to protect, feed, and help your baby foxes survive in the cruel world. The more skills the baby foxes know, the more their chances of survival increase. Survival of the fittest!
The game is a great learning lesson that teaches you and alerts you on the fact that our planet and its biodiversity are in danger. Endling has beautiful graphics, and with the PlayStation in your hand, it is going to be a mesmerizing playing experience.
Imagine how enticing would it be to be the last of your kind? You get to understand the detrimental impact of our human populace as it contaminates, attacks, and alters the planet’s finest and irreplaceable resources on a daily basis.
You and your offspring can only travel between worlds in a plane with a 2D perspective, albeit in the video game’s completely 3D setting. You get to play around with how you want your cubs to look like at the beginning of the game.
Alan Wake: Remastered
And finally, our prediction came true. What is more to say about this masterpiece? A thrilling action-adventure that will have you glued to your PS5. But also alert you when you have exceeded your playtime. Alan Wake: Remastered allows for healthy gaming, indeed.
Alan Wake Remastered, on the outside, appears fresh, but in reality, you will find that a few of its adored sections are beginning to appear slightly overused. Although the intricate combat in Remedy’s latest game has left the protagonist tensed, its reliably foreboding mood and subtle twists in the story continue to make for a compelling survival-horror thrill for newbies.
Irrespective of your subscription tier, you are eligible to download the July free games.
All three of these games will be released on 4th July 2023, on your PlayStation Plus. Set your alarms and mark your calendars. Grab these beauties as soon as they are out! While you wait for the free monthly PlayStation games: July edition to roll out, let us know in the comments which game you want Sony to air that did not make it to the free games list this month. Fingers crossed, we hope it comes out in PlayStation Plus free monthly games August edition! Until then, let us enjoy these three free games to the fullest!
