Shotaro Hidari’s story begins after Kamen Rider W Returns: Kamen Rider Accel. Shotora became a private detective working at Narumi Detective Agency. Raito Philip Sonozaki joined Shotaro as his partner. Shotaro learned that Raito was the only survivor of the Sonozaki family. Raito is best at his work and can access the Gaia Library. The two became the best duos and turned into Kamen Rider W. As the Kamen Raider W, they decided to protect the city of Fuuto from the Dopants. The duo learned that Dopants are mysterious monsters created by Gaia Memories.

Shotaro and Raito worked with their boss Akiko Terui to solve the cases. Akiko decided to join one of the investigations with her husband, Ryu. Ryu became a police officer, and he is known as Kamen Rider Accel. However, after a few days of hardworking, Shotaro was walking and met with an amnesiac pink-haired girl who revealed that her name was Tokime. Tokime is one of the citizens targeted by the Dopants. Shotaro realizes Tokime is in danger and decides to save her from the monster. One day Shotaro and Raito were working on something and found shocking news. They have discovered that Tokime has connections with the mysterious Aurora Dopant. The boss and the workers decided to watch Tokime closely since they wanted to unveil the root of the Dopants. Shotaro wonders what connection Tokime has with a monster and decides to investigate to save her.
