What is the premise of Citadel?

According to the series’ official synopsis, “Manticore, a new syndicate, annihilated Citadel, an independent worldwide spy agency, eight years ago. Elite agents Mason Kane (played by Richard Madden) and Nadia Sinh (portrayed by Priyanka Chopra Jonas) barely made it out alive after having their memories erased.

What to expect from Citadel

The six-part story follows Laszlo Milla (Roland Mller), the head agent of Citadel’s rival espionage agency, Manticore, following his release from a Citadel prison facility. Citadel is a multinational spy outfit.

He intends to bring down Citadel permanently and is out for retribution on the special officer Mason Kane (played by Richard Madden), who nabbed him. The action fast-forwards eight years to reveal that Manticore, an organization, has wiped out Citadel.

One evening, Bernard Orlick (Stanley Tucci), an old friend from the Citadel, finds Mason and seeks his assistance in stopping Manticore from creating a new global rule. In an effort to halt Manticore, the two spies are now sent on an objective that takes them throughout the globe. They must do this while navigating a relationship that is based on secrets, deception, and an incredibly risky but enduring love.
