Well, the adorable and loveable character Groot is back with a new season of its series titled I Am Groot. Baby Groot is someone with whom almost everyone fell in love with his adorable voice and big doe eyes.
The mischievous and troublemaking twig is back to discover and enjoy new things in the universe. Inspired by Marvel comics, the series will focus on Groot from the time he was a baby to the time he grew up.
Directed and Written by Kristen Lepore, the series stars Van Diesel voicing Groot’s character, a tree-like mischievous and troublesome humanoid Bradley Cooper voicing the character of Rocket, the adorable genetically modified racoon, Jeffrey Wright voicing the character of Watcher, an alien member of the watcher.
Released on August 10, 2022, the series got renewed for a second season due to Groot and Rocket being a dynamic pair going on adventures that are worth one’s time. Disney+ brought the series for viewers to enjoy, and almost immediately people fell in love with Groot’s doe eyes and adorable voice.
The series has 10 episodes with a time duration of 5-6 minutes each. Produced by Carrie Wassenaar and Craig Rittenbaum, the series had Diesel reprising his role for Groot.

I Am Groot Season 1- Recap
The prime focus of I Am Groot is on the adorable troublesome twig, Groot going on several new adventures with his companions, who often get him in trouble. Rocket and Groot often get in trouble together while on their adventures. The first season begins with the Baby Groot growing up in a pot while growing in a pot and getting tended by robots.
The robots replace Groot with a bonsai plant after a crack appears on the pot he is growing in. This leads to Groot becoming infuriated and filled with jealousy attacking the plant. Groot and the bonsai plant fall together on the ground during their fights leading to their pots breaking.
Groot starts to find a bush nearby to give the Grunds an additional source of food but ends up killing them on his way back. The third episode witnessed Baby Groot waking up in the middle of the night to find a broken vial in the Elector’s Quadrant. Groot traces the coloured liquid from the vial around the ship to discover that it is an Iwua, a shape-shifting alien.
Groot dances with the alien until Groot’s mischievous side takes over, and he ejects the alien from the ship. The fourth episode witnessed Groot finding a mud pool and taking a bath in it. Groot soon discovers his leaves grow out in the mud, and he starts to style them in different ways.
This attracts a Gangalorian squirrel living in a nearby tree, and Groot isn’t able to continue growing his leaves after he uses all the mud from the pool. Groot trims his hair to become a scarf after the squirrel mocks him.
The first season ends with Baby Groot gathering items from the ship to draw the Guardians of the Galaxy, and he ends up causing an explosion. Groot gives the drawing to Rocket before saving him from getting sucked into the hole in the ship caused by the explosion.
