A night. An accidental click. A good-looking man. These are your clues to the plot of Wet Sand. Okay, enough of my guessing game. Our deuteragonist Jo accidentally clicks a picture of the hunky stunning Ian smoking on his balcony. The adonis Ian bewitches Jo, and he becomes smitten by him.
However, Jo is oblivious to his sinister secrets. Ian happens to be a dangerous gang member, and to add more to the peril; he is in a clandestine affair with one of the most significant members. As the plot furthers, Ian finds himself deeply entrenched within the clutches of the dangerous gang. His association with them exposes him to the dangers of cops and rival cliques.
As Jo’s attraction intensifies toward Ian, he becomes determined to unchain Ian from the clutches of vice and rinse him clean. A noble mission for a beloved Jo will do anything to liberate Ian from this spiteful gangland. But will he succeed? Succumbing to the vicious underworld seems more likely!

Wet Sand Chapter 24 Recap
Unknown miscreants attacked Joseph Lendi in the previous Chapter. It was strange that they had all the information regarding Jo, and the reason provided to Jo about why they were attacking him was vague, and all Jo could understand was that he was getting on Youngwoo Shin’s nerves, their boss. How could it be? He doesn’t even know who Youngwoo Shin is, let alone getting on his nerves. A befuddled and injured Jo is taken to the hospital.
Now at the hospital. Alex fidgets, revealing to Jo that his infatuation with Ian will be fatal. Why? The naive Jo wasn’t aware that Ian, the handsome hunk, was not a lowly dealer who had been clean of criminal activities. He is a dangerous gang member with deep connections with the underworld.
Jo then reminisces that the attackers mentioned Ian while he was being attacked. It is then that Alex reveals the reason for Jo’s hospitalization is no one other than Ian, had Jo not established his increasing closeness with him, he would have been safe.
The scene shifts to Youngwoo Shin. He has arrived at Ian’s. Ian is not looking happy! He is ballistic and mocks Youngwoo for attacking Jo. Yangji, Youngwoo’s footman, profusely apologizes to Ian for attacking Jo but to no avail. He is slapped by Ian every time he says sorry.
Ian then babbles that he feels reduced to a third-rate bully because of them, and he is not ready to let them go. He is not in the mood to spare Youngwoo either. After all, Youngwoo was the mastermind of this attack. He has to taste Ian’s wrath as well. However, before things can get any worse for the lackeys of Youngwoo, he steps in and becomes a victim of Ian’s anger.

Wet Sand is currently on hiatus. As per our sources, Wet Sand Chapter 25 is expected to release in April 2023. The creator will continue with Wet Sand Season 2 Chapter 1, which is Wet Sand Chapter 25, in April 2023. Doyak, the creator, in his recent interview with Tappytoon, hinted at resolving the twists of Season 1 in Season 2.
