Another one of Bravo’s reality series, The Real Housewives of Potomac will be airing a new episode this week. Revolving around fierce women from Potomac, Maryland, the series documents their everyday life as a few of the most popular women from the area.
First seen on television on January 17th, 2016, the show has become one of the most popular series of the franchise. It was also the first show to have almost 2.5 million views with its first-ever episode premiere. Real Housewives of Potomac went on to have a new season each year, with the latest running since October 9th, 2022. With the reunions having started, the seventh season will soon reach an end.
Most of the cast members remain the same as in previous seasons, with the only exception being Charisse Jackson Jordon and Jacqueline Blake, being featured in season seven as friends of the cast. Askale Davis and Katie Rost are featured as guests. The upcoming reunions will be showcasing all clashes and drama that happened in season 7, with Andy Cohen hosting the event as always.
In the previous episode, we see Andy meeting up with the women before the reunion begins. The women show up in bright blue glamourous outfits before they begin spilling the tea. The reunion takes place in Miami. Andy talks about the way two of the cast members were dating Bravo celebrities like Luke and Jason.
What Happened in The Real Housewives of Potomac Season 7 Episode 18?
We see a recap of Ashley’s very public divorce and the rumors of her new relationship with a hockey player. The new house she managed to buy with her ex was just 7 minutes away from their old penthouse. Though this creates reactions from some of the women, Ashley clarifies that it’s for the safety of their kids. They also talk about the incident where Michael dropped the kids off, causing Luke to leave for New York right away. She accepts the fact that she has feelings for Luke but can’t confirm anything right now.
The divorce settlement is discussed, to which she reveals that she won’t be getting much money since the rules stated that the money that Michael made before the marriage was his, and since he used that in his later projects that happened after he got married, any amount of fortune couldn’t be claimed by Ashley. Andy reads a tweet that brings to light a past comment that Ashley made on Candiace, which unfortunately aged horribly for her.
Things were getting messy in Mia’s life as well, with her posting about suffering from a disease without mentioning what it was. This caused some drama between the women as they assumed Mia was just looking for attention. She later revealed that it was sarcoidosis and was now healthy and free from disease. Wendy’s past words come back to her face as she is brought to light for calling Mia a liar when she was talking about being ill.
Andy then asks her about the Instagram post that talked about Mia and her husband losing their company to Gordon’s brothers. She explains that it was due to a majority vote from the managing directors, but the other women think there’s something else she isn’t talking about. Mia was now living off of the family’s savings in North Bethesda and had sold a few of the rental properties.
Between the breaks, Gizelle asks Andy if he has ever been in a relationship and offers to be with him if things stay the same when he’s 60. We see unseen footage from the time Chris texted Gizelle right after the cameras went away. The episode ends with a dramatic argument between Candiace and Gizelle.
