Starring Jason Sudeikis, the Apple TV original, Ted Lasso will soon start airing the third season of the series. Revolving around the titular character Ted, the show takes us through his journey as a Soccer coach although he had no prior experience of the sport, let alone coaching it. Lasso used to be a Football coach before his job at AFC Richmond.
Rebecca Welton, AFC Richmond’s owner hires Ted as a coach knowing he wasn’t aware of it as much. She sees it as a part of revenge against her ex-husband who had cheated on her. Her plan turns out to be unsuccessful when Ted manages to not only get the team to play the sport much better than before but also manages to impress Rebecca and everyone else who had doubted him. Ted’s charm, way of doing things, and easygoing personality can be attributed to his success.
The show was first seen on August 14th, 2020. It was released as an Apple TV original produced by Jason Sudeikis along with Bill Lawrence and Brendan Hunt. Jason also stars as the main character of the show Ted Lasso. Seeing the show turn out to be a hit, producers soon came out with a second season by 2021. The latest season is set to premiere this month, with 12 episodes ordered for the installment.

Ted Lasso Season 2: Recap
In the previous seasons, we see the first episode showing Dani almost scoring a winning penalty, but in the process, the ball ends up hitting Earl, a dog that was the team’s main mascot. This causes him to get depressed over what he had done, and he takes a break from the sport as he wasn’t able to play anymore. Rebecca finds herself a new partner named John, who she leaves by the end of the first episode. When the team hires Sharon Fieldstone to help Dani overcome his guilt, the plan works out and Dani gets back to his usual self.
Seeing her work her magic on Dani, the rest of the team members request a meeting with her, much to Ted’s dismay as Sharon and Ted didn’t get along well. Roy finds out that Jamie had participated in a dating show but gets eliminated in the beginning. After this, he returns to the team and asks Tef if he can join the team once again. Ted denies his request at first, but when he asks the Diamond Dogs for their opinion, most of them vote to bring him back.
We also see the team celebrating Christmas when Higgins hosts a party for all. Ted tries to spend time talking to his family, but the divorce blues kept coming back so Rebecca assigns him a job that requires giving gifts to those in need. Ted eventually ends up taking therapy from Sharon, and after two unsuccessful attempts, he finally convinces himself to go along with the flow. A new relationship forms between Rebecca and Sam.
