Chapter 154 was released recently on 31st January 2023. The chapter starts with Barolt having the dream of eliminating all the Rath’nians and the error of the Guide Line. He wakes up wondering why he hasn’t gotten used to this.
Then the chapter shifts to Barolt reading the newspaper about the opening of the four forbidden areas for the first time in fifteen years. The area is open for hunters and a hunter competition is also held. Through this competition, perhaps a strong hunter will be chosen for the sake of Rath’nas safety.
Then the story shifts to Barolt defeating a monster and being praised by the people of the city. That’s when a drunkard throws a bottle at him and asks him if he is a hero then kill the otherworlder Ryu Hanbin as his life is miserable because of him.
Barolt then takes him to the meeting point of his crew where Leonhart and others are present. They interrogate the priest about the order of light but the priest was expelled as he chose an anotherworlder.
Further, they get to know that the order of light is after Barolt. All of them decide not to take part in the upcoming hunter competition as it’s pretty dangerous with the order of light looking for them, but then Barolt saw the reward of the competition a memory cylinder.
This Memory Cylinder was valuable enough to make Barolt take all the risks and participate in the competition and on this note, the chapter comes to an end.
