Dwayne Johnson’s autobiographical series, Young Rock, which is produced by NBC, has returned to television for its third season, only one and a half years following its debut, as of Friday, November 4, 2022, with the first episode from the same officially entitled “The People Need You”.
The previous season of this sitcom takes a comedic look back revolving around the life of one of the most popular wrestler turned actors in Hollywood, closing with the debut of The Rock at Wrestlemania, the single biggest event in the wrestling calendar of the World Wrestling Federation.
Unfortunately, however, Johnson’s first time at “the showcase of the immortals” does not turn out to be as well as he would have liked. This left out some space for a much-anticipated fallout in the newest installation of the series.
In the premiere episode of Young Rock Season 3, we saw Dwayne getting ready to leave his political life behind after losing the 2023 general elections. However, things take a turn when she gets a call from an unexpected person.
We were then transported to 1985, where Rocky first learns the aftermath of crossing someone like Vince. Meanwhile, in 1977, Johnson realized that it did not matter whether he won or lost, fans were going to hate him anyway.
