Previously on Kill The Dragon Chapter 61: Recap
Previously in Kill The Dragon’s Chapter 61, we saw that the war against Silence needed something more than just physical power and strength. That something was brains.
Special abilities such as electrocution also were not working on Silence, so Derek decides to look for someone who will oversee the strategy and control the team, which will thereafter use strength to win against Silence or at the least defeat him.
Lee Han was the best man to take charge of the brain’s part. Derek reminds him of the circumstances under which he joined the 13th squad when Lee Han refused to help. Guilt-filled Lee Han finally agrees and then gives them the plan. Lee Han says that he will help for one last time, and if this time Knut and Derek fail, they will have to just give up. Knut and Derek excitedly agree to the conditions.
According to Lee Han’s plan, it was to lure Silence to the roof. And to make sure that happens, they were going to set up various traps throughout the building. Lee Han marks all the locations, and they get moving.
Everyone on the crew is surprised by how Lee Han drew such a detailed map in such a short time. The map also tells them which traps to set up. Lee Han instructs them to move in pairs without him.
Lee Han also instructs them not to approach Silence closer than twenty meters as there is a high chance they will be caught with a blink. And if Silence disappears within close proximity, the crew is told to roll forward, and if they are lucky, they will be able to dodge him.
Once the instructions are clear, everyone moves to their positions and starts with their task as assigned and planned by Lee Han. After confirming connectivity successfully, Lee Han says that the target will appear in front of Team 1.
SMO-2 then lures the target towards SMO-1. The target, here Silence, enters the building. SMO-1 and SMO-2 turn around and head toward the roof. Now it is SMO-3 and SMO-4 who need to do their part.
When the plans seem to be going as planned, Silence learns about the traps, and the target suddenly bypasses all of the traps with incredible speed after the first can. Now it is clear that he acknowledges the traps and stays off his guard.
The target however heads toward the roof and plans to just blink past Lee Han to capture him. However, Lee Han is well versed in Silence’s plans and manually controls the second trap o the roof and covers Silence’s head with a bucket which disables him from blinking.
