You can further bookmark this article before the Emily in Paris Season 4 releases in order to have a detailed summary of the installment without any hassles. Coming to the third season of Emily in Paris, it was complete chaos and left us hooked once again with a pretty cliffhanger.
The series was left on a cliffhanger earlier as well, where Emily was seen deciding whether or not she wants to live in Paris after Gabriel is back with Camille and they are moving in together. The girls just made a pact about how they would never date him ever again, and Camille just blows it all up in her face.
Nevertheless, we see the aftermath of those events as Camille and Gabriel are finally together, as also Emily and Alfie. Mindy, too, found a great relationship this season, and I will let you all buckle your seatbelts before joining me on this journey to review and recap each episode of the season.
Emily in Paris Season 3 Episode 1 – Summary
Emily in Paris Season 3 Episode 1, titled I Have Teo Lovers, took quite the charm out of its title as well. What we see in the first episode itself is that Emily is drowning in work. She has not quit Savoir yet and is still working with Madeline.
At the same time, she has also accepted the offer with Sylvie to work at her new agency. This is causing a lot of chaos in her life as they are truly expecting a lot from her, and being the perfectionist that she is, Emily is working her ass off to provide pitches and clients to both teams.
Her love life is a mess as well. Alfie is about to return to London as his time in Paris is almost over. Seeing that Camille and Gabriel are finally together is obviously hurting her because let’s face it, she loves him a lot. She also loves Alfie, but that is not the same as this.
While trying to find time for her work, Emily is seen tackling a load of her emotions as well, which is getting heavy. Her reason to be still working with Madeline is that she is pregnant and has no staff. Even though she tried to quit her job at the firm, she was just not able to after seeing her boss’ condition.
Thus, Emily decides to find a French workforce for her before giving her resigned to her. Antoine and Gabriel are shocked as well because they witnessed her at both firms while trying to find the deal which was the best for them.
But well, the biggest upside of this episode was the impulse decision that Emily decided to give her mind to. EMILY CUT HER BANGS OFF! But, well, with Netflix stylists, we can safely say that it is all working out for her right now with the whole look.
Now Doug, Emily’s ex-boyfriend, calls her from Chicago. He has sent her the contact details of his boss, who is trying to expand the branch of Mcdonald’s in France. Thus, she pitches the idea to Sylvie for her new firm after visiting a McDonald’s herself, which is nothing like how Americans like their fast food joints to be. It has adapted to French culture and is so chic and minimalistic.
Thus, as Agence Grateau sets up a meeting with the Mcdonald’s manager, Luc has an emergency as he tries to go back to Savoir to grab a few of his things. Turns out that he blabs everything about the deal to Madeline, who eventually shows up at the meeting and sabotages it. Her water breaks as well, and she immediately has to go to the hospital. Ultimately the deal is lost.
Sylvie fires Emily from her business. Turns out that as she is coming back home from the biggest tragedy of her life, she also finds out that she missed the party in which they all were throwing Alfie as a going away thing. This really breaks his heart because she is not there for him while everyone they knew was and brought something for him. Alfie has now left for London finally.

Also, in the last episode, we saw that Mindy and the band performed at this amazing Jazz club, and it worked out perfectly for them. The manager offered a regular job to only Mindy for their club.
Although, this does not sit right well with her because she does not want to be the person who breaks up the band and absolutely does not want to work at two places at once as Emily did. Later, as Emily is trying to find replacements for Sylvie here at Savoir, Sylvie is already expanding her brand to various brands such as Luis Vuitton and Chanel.
Emily also talks with Alfie a bit, and the whole conversation seems real off. But well, what else can you expect from him, right? Turns out that he is back in Paris working for Antoine as a CFO which apparently everybody knew except Emily here. Then at the Pierre Cadault event, as Savoir has failed to replace Sylvie, Madeline tries to apologize to her and asks her to come back.
Although Sylvie denies it and the whole situation turns out sour. We see that Pierre Cadault sells his brand and name to JVMA, who do in-house marketing meaning that Sylvie and her firm are back to ground one with zero clients. They can’t take their old clients back either because Savoir will sue them otherwise, as per their legal contracts.
Later, Sylvie works out a deal with Nico, who offers to help with the Cadault line exclusively for marketing. As for Gabriel, he feels more responsible now and, thus, goes to Antoine to discuss the terms of the restaurant.
