Australia’s Got Talent: A Stage of the Extraordinary
Got Talent franchise has been a way for people to showcase their talents to a larger audience. The shows have even received a world record for the best Reality TV show format to ever exist. Along with singing and dancing, the show also hosts some of the most unusual and jaw-dropping performances.
Swallowing a whole sword or pulling a car with just a mouth, acts that seemingly defy death, and blindfolding extreme fruit ninjas, are just a few examples of what this show presents.
It usually starts with auditions all over the country. People come from other countries as well, and acts are sometimes repeated. Comedians, dancers, magicians, everyone’s welcome to show their skills and try to win a cash prize of up to 250,000 Australian dollars!
Once the auditions are complete, the show moves into the semi-final rounds, where the selected members will compete against each other. Those who receive higher votes from the audience, as well as the judges, will move into the finale. The same format is followed in the finale, where two remaining contestants will compete for the grand prize.
Australia’s Got Talent Season 10 Episode 6: Recap
The previous episode of the series was aired on October 24th, 2022. It featured many auditions that left the judges perplexed and amazed. One of those acts was the Fabulous Showman. He almost set fire to himself and escaped unharmed.
But that wasn’t it. Soon after doing the deathly trick, he puts his head on a sharp blade with a cement brick on his head and asks Shane to break the brick with a hammer. After Shane finally breaks the brick, he reveals his unharmed head and receives a grand applause from the audience.
Another significantly mind-blowing performance was by Matt Tarrant and his mind-reading Goose, Bruce. Though he may not be a real goose, Bruce can easily guess what’s going on in someone’s mind. When Matt hands over pieces of paper with questions to the judges, he declares that Bruce will guess the question as well as the answer by the end of the act.
Matt puts on the pretense of failing to answer the questions at first, but as the action proceeds, he whips out a scroll with correctly guessed questions as well as their answers. This leaves both the judges and the audience speechless since the answers were something only the judges would have known.
