Season 3 of Lucifer contained 26 Episodes and was released on 2 October 2017. Season 3 ended on 28 May 2018.
Season 4 contained ten episodes and was released on 8 May 2019. Lucifer’s season 5 had 16 episodes in total, released in two parts, with eight episodes each on 21 August 2020 and 28 May 2021. Chloe Decker is the ex-wife of Dan Espinoza, and they share a daughter. Dan is also a detective for the same department as Chloe.
Dan and Lucifer always share a love-hate relationship throughout the series. Despite conversing with him many times, Dan had no idea about Lucifer’s identity. Finally, in season five, Lucifer’s identity is revealed to Dan. Dan always doubts Lucifer, who claims himself to be the devil. In episode 7 of season 5, Dan finally got the truth. Lucifer reveals his true face to Dan while confronting his twin Michael. Dan was shocked, experienced an existential crisis for a while, and started doubting life.
The episode’s title was Our Mojo. Unable to digest so much, Dan shoots Lucifer in the chest one day. Taking his time from processing this huge discovery, Dan takes the task of transporting a prisoner from Mexico. But sadly, in episode 15 of the same season, Dan was killed by the same people who kidnapped him.

Chloe leaves this world peacefully and meets Amenadiel in heaven while Lucifer is helping souls find peace in hell. This also included Linda’s ex-husband Reese and even Le Mec. The story ended unpredictably, and it was worth the wait.
