Here we have made a list of kpop girl groups with 6 members! With the growing popularity of K-pop, agencies felt the need for restructuring, especially when it came to selecting the final line-up. Most girl groups from 1st Generation and 2nd Generation were formed with fewer members, such as three to five members in each group. For instance, 3-member S.E.S., 4-member Fin.K.L., Brown Eyed Girls, etc.
Girls’ Generation is one of the few girl groups with the most members. And from there, many groups debuted with 7 to 8 members. For instance, 7-member Wonder Girl and Kara, 8-member T-ara, 11-member After School, and many more. Hence, the selection process of members also evolved due to the rising popularity of kpop music and the need to change. Previously, most members were picked through off-camera auditions. However, nowadays, along with auditions, members are selected through survival reality shows where netizens’ voting matters as much as the judges’ decision.
Therefore, with the cutthroat competition, it’s become challenging to survive through the harsh trainee period and become a part of the debut team. Nevertheless, dreamers aren’t quitters! Thus, we find numerous groups with the most members. And so here is the list of kpop girl groups with 6 members from all Kpop Generations!
