Even though no one can be compared to Naruto for what he taught us, people still like to compare him with other anime characters based on strength and power. People love to imagine hypothetical fights between Naruto and other anime characters. Even though he is unbeatable in our hearts, people still love to know who can beat Naruto in a one-on-one match. So, here’s the list of top 10 anime characters who can defeat Naruto one-on-one.
1. Dragon Ball Super: Zeno
The supreme ruler of the multiverse, Zeno can destroy not only planets but also universes if he wishes to. Do not be deceived by his appearance. He already has destroyed six out of the then existing 18 universes just because he thought there were too many universes and they needed to be reduced. Destroyed with a single thought. At one point, Zeno wanted to play hide and seek, so he hosted an All Universe Hide and Seek Tournament. In that game, Beerus hid well, and he happened to fall asleep. He slept for about fifty years. And as Beerus could not be found anywhere, Zeno, who was having fun in this event, got so angry that it took Gods from eleven different universes to calm him down.
Now, to think of Naruto Vs. Zeno, Naruto does not even stand a chance against Zeno. Naruto’s Rasengan or even Baryon mode would be ineffective against Zeno. It is sad to say, but Naruto would be like an insect in front of Zeno.

2. The Misfit Of Demon King Academy: Anos Voldigoad
The 2000-year-old Demon King of Tyranny, Anos Voldigoad, is someone on whom nothing works. It would be useless to try your best to attack him because he will make it look like the worst thing one could ever do. He does not even need to move himself to beat someone. He is insanely strong. If he blinks a bit harder, any spell will become useless in front of him. He almost killed someone just by raising the volume of his heartbeat. Anos Voldigoad is one of those characters who could casually do something that God would not be proud of without any hesitation.
For Naruto to beat him, it would take 2000 more years to maybe touch him. Thank God they are not in the same anime against each other. Otherwise, the anime would not have been called ‘Naruto’ anymore.

3. One Punch Man: Saitama
This guy Saitama does not have powers like Rasengan, Stands, or anything. But he has an immense amount of strength, speed, and super fast reflex. He is the character whose fight with Goku is still debatable. Saitama trained himself so hard that he lost his hair. He is so overpowered that he does not need any kind of additional power. Things he can do, Naruto can’t ever do even if he gave his best shot.
In the Naruto universe, the Bijuu Bomb is considered to be a tailed beast’s most dangerous attack. Even if Naruto uses Bijuu Bomb Rasengan when he is in Baryon mode, it would not be enough to do the damage that Saitama’s single air punch could do. In Baryon Mode, Naruto can absorb life force from his opponent by a single touch, but Saitama sure is not patient enough to let Naruto get closer to him or touch him. One air punch from Saitama, and Naruto is nowhere to be found. Naruto is fast, but we don’t think he could be ‘jump from earth to moon and back in a moment’ fast.
The only way Naruto might be able to distract Saitama is by using his Sexy Jutsu. But even if he manages to distract Saitama with this Jutsu, after that, any kind of attack would be a mosquito bite for Saitama.
4. Dragon Ball Super: Goku
Goku is one of those characters who suppress their powers so that they would not destroy the planet they are living on. And, Naruto with his full power may damage but would not be enough to destroy the complete planet. Throughout time, we watched Goku go beyond his limits so many times that we still are not sure what will be his final form. But, we are sure that Goku does not need to be in his prime to defeat the prime Naruto.
5. Boruto Naruto Next Generations: Isshiki Otsutsuki
There was a time when Naruto could have been defeated by a lot of characters in the Naruto universe. But, in the present, Naruto in his prime, it would take a lot more than Itachi, Madara, and Hashirama all together to defeat him. So, here comes Isshiki Otsutsuki, who possessed the body of Jigen, who is a weak vessel for Isshiki. Isshiki alone possesses so much power that Jigen couldn’t withstand it all. But, even with such little amount of power, he was able to give Naruto and Sasuke both the hardest time of their lives.
Isshiki never got the chance to get his perfect vessel. Otherwise, it would have been impossible for Naruto to even put a scratch on Isshiki. Whether Naruto was in his Baryon mode or not, it would have been useless. Even if Sasuke had Naruto’s back, it would have been pointless. The prime Isshiki is not to be messed with.

6. Jujutsu Kaisen: Gojo Satoru
How are you supposed to defeat someone you can’t even touch? Gojo is surrounded by infinity. Unlike Gaara’s absolute defense, which was not so much absolute, Gojo’s infinity is impenetrable. Gojo’s powers don’t stop here. He has a lot in his arsenal. Do we even need to explain what a Domain Expansion is? Gojo’s cursed energy is so immense that he can use his Domain Expansion multiple times in a day.
In the manga, it has been stated that the kind of cursed seal that can capture Sukuna, the King of Curses, isn’t good enough to capture Gojo. If we are talking about seals, then Kurama is also sealed inside Naruto. So, does that make Kurama a curse in Jujutsu Kaisen Universe? If yes, then Gojo already won.

7. Devilman Crybaby: Ryou Asuka (Satan)
Satan himself. He has the power to reincarnate himself anywhere he wants. He can reincarnate himself. Doesn’t that mean he just can’t die? End of discussion. But, still, let’s see what else he can do. He can create life as well as end a life with a single thought. He can also use powerful beams so powerful that they can split the moon in half.
Even if we assume that Naruto and Ryou have the same level of power, the question is, how is Naruto supposed to defeat someone who just can’t die.
8. JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Giorno Giovanna
Giorno’s stand Golden Experience Requiem is something no one would imagine facing off with. Any attack that can damage Giorno will be reversed back in time, so there is no way Giorno can be damaged at all. So, any attack from Naruto is useless here. There’s more. Just like Itachi, Giorno can make his opponents relive their deaths over and over. The only difference is that Itachi’s death loop would be a genjutsu, whereas Giorno’s death loop isn’t.

9. The Disastrous Life Of Saiki K: Saiki Kusuo
Saiki does not even need to physically fight Naruto to defeat him. All he needs to do is go back in time when Naruto was a powerless baby, find him and rest we would not want to imagine. Do we even need to discuss it further? Even if Naruto might have more physical powers than Saiki, how is he supposed to beat time when time is something Saiki can play with.

10. Death Note: Light Yagami
There is no way a normal human can defeat Naruto except Light Yagami. Light does not even need to be present in the same room as Naruto. Light can be thousands of miles away from him and still kill him in seconds. All he needs to know is Naruto’s name, and the job’s done. Naruto could have had the chance to defeat Light if they were in front of each other. Naruto could have grabbed Light even before his pen hit the Death Note. But Light isn’t stupid enough to come in front of Naruto like that. And even if he came in front of Naruto, there’s no way Naruto could have known who Kira was. After all, even L had a hard time knowing Kira’s real identity.
But, it would be quite easy for Light to know Naruto’s name, as he would have said his name out loud. “My name is Uzumaki Naruto, Dattebayo! And I’ll be the Hokage/I’m the Hokage”. And that would be the last thing he would have said.
