The revolutionary game came into existence thanks to collaborated efforts of the three big shot companies in Korea – Ajin Electronics, Silicoff Industries and Argos Corporation. The game can only be played with the help of a bed like set up known as Dreamer.

Yoon Jaeyeong is a hardcore gamer who is extremely skilled at gaming. In the previous chapter, the GM Corporation’s chairman has become uneasy after Ajin Electronic’s stocks skyrocketed because of Arcadia’s invention. The chairman’s son borrows 50 billion Won from his father to invest into the game, to make the Maroon Kingdom theirs and earn money through exchange between in-game currency and the Won. The Son visits Duke Behren to tell him about the things he had done.

He had taken over a large extent of grain supply, especially from the place that Parkell kingdom gets its rations from. The son is pushing for Duke Behren to go on a war and take over the Maroon Kingdom so that he could get his 1 trillion Won that he has expected to get after a win. Once he and Duke finish discussing, he sees a young man in the low level adventurer’s clothes enter the Duke’s room and tells his lackeys to keep a close on him.

The young man is Dex who had come to meet Duke Behren on the recommendation of Count Brocken. When the Duke asks Dex why is he here, Dex replies that he wants to assassinate Count Brocken. Playing the middleman between the Count and the Duke, Dex goes on to say that Count Brocken wants to assassinate Duke Behren and betray him. When asked for proof, Dex tells him that his memory serves a proof valid enough.

Duke Behren is impressed by Dex and they strike up a deal, oblivious to the fact that Dex is playing both sides at the same time. Dex’s plan is to instigate the war between Kingdoms and also instigate a war internally so that he can gain plausibility and profit two times over. As he is leaving the Duke’s mansion, he is stopped by the Chairman’s son’s lackey who tell him to come with them and talk.
