It was on the uphill course when the lineup began to change. Joker noticed that something was off about the way Hwangyeon was moving at such great speed, and he finally figured out how to cross him. The chapter ended with Joker taking the lead, leaving Hwangyeon behind.

Continuing with the race, Choi Hwangyeon had crossed all the other cyclists and taken the lead. Everyone is shocked to see him this fast because Hwangyeon wasn’t always this good, but it seems that he finally reached his true form making him ahead of the rest.
While the commentator informs everyone that Hwangyeon is currently in first place, Gyuchan Gong of the Monster team is catching up to him.
The two of them end up in an intense mental battle and don’t realize they have created an opening for another cyclist to go ahead.
Joker from Team Sabbath took the opportunity and sprinted ahead of the two taking the lead. Hwangyeon soon catches on to Joker, and for some reason, the latter feels suffocated with him around. Hwangyeon’s presence was burdening him, and his aura made him cautious.
Just when Hwangyeon thought he was first again, Gyuchan crossed the two of them, adding on to Hwangyeon’s frustration.
Meanwhile, the spectators are surprised to see Hwangyeon go through such a drastic change and now root for him, calling him “Madman Choi” of the Ghost team.
It was obvious to everyone now that Hwangyeon was the strongest of them all, so competing in terms of strength was futile.
Gyuchan decided it was best to sprint than fight him head on head, but is startled with Hwangyeon catching up to him in this short span of time.
He was dominating the race with his insane tempo and leaving everyone else behind. Members of the other team were now ware of Hwangyeon and his abilities. He was the heir to the black blood.
They began to suspect he made some kind of deal with the akuma to gain superhuman strength because if was impossible to improve so much just few days before the race. Back to Hwangyeon, he had finally reached the second course of the race – the uphill course.
The hill was steep and dangerous, which thrilled the spectators as they were curious on how a mere bike would be able to cross it. Hwangyeon accelerated himself to the fullest and charged up the hill.
Seeing him, Joker and Gyuchan too realized there was no point in saving energy and that they’d have to give their all in order to win. Gyuchan used the rolling climer technique while Joker used standing hammering. With their own techniques, both of them were close to Hwangyeon and catching up to him.
Noticing them from up front, Hwangyeon decides to pull a move that would put him in front and moves faster than before.
Joker is still confused on how he has so much stamina but as Hwangyeon prepares himself, he notices something. Before Hwangyeon could tell, Joker had passed him and was taking the lead.
