Adapted from Diana Gabaldon’s Outlander novel series, Outlander is a historical drama television series. The show, created by Ronald D. Moore, debuted on the “Starz” network on August 9, 2014. The show features Caitriona Balfe, who plays Claire Randall, a former military nurse in Scotland who was sent back in time from 1945 to the year 1743. She meets, falls in love with, and marries Jamie Fraser, played by Sam Heughan.
He is a dashing Highland warrior from Gabaldon’s fictionalized Clan Fraser of Lovat. The show follows Claire’s journey as she soon becomes intertwined in the Jacobite uprising.
Since Malva’s entrance at Fraser’s Ridge in season 6 of the historical drama, the character has piqued viewers’ interest in both her history and the present. She is a fascinating character with an intriguing character arc because of her concerns about intimacy, Claire and Jamie’s skepticism over her biological father, and the charm she possesses.
Malva surprises everyone in the settlement when she discloses in the sixth episode of season 6 that she is carrying Jamie’s child. Who is Malva’s child’s true father?
Tom Christie pays Jamie and Claire a visit with Malva and Allan in the sixth episode of Outlander’s season 6. Tom wants Malva to respond when Jamie wants to know the cause behind the unexpected visit. Malva claims to be carrying Jamie’s child after having a sexual relationship with the Fraser household’s lord while Claire is in critical condition.
Malva also discloses Jamie’s body marks and scars’ locations as evidence to prove the aforementioned point. Jamie rejects her confession as a lie, but Tom presses him to look after Malva and her child. Young Ian, who is completely shocked by the news, rushes to visit Claire and claims that because he had a sexual encounter with her in the past, he might be the father of Malva’s child.

On the contrary, Roger has questions about Henderson. He recalls the occasion when he saw Malva and Henderson having sex in the church. But none of these people happen to be the biological father of Malva’s child. Allan Christie is the one who caused Malva to become pregnant, according to Diana Gabaldon’s novel “A Breath of Snow and Ashes,” on which the sixth season is largely based. Malva has an older half-brother named Allan because Allan’s father, Tom Christie, is Edgar’s brother. He regularly abused his half-sister, got her pregnant, and then convinced her to say Jamie was the father of her unborn child.
Malva and her baby’s eventual fate
In the book, Malva accuses Jamie of getting her pregnant so she could get a place to live as well as a deserving father for her child. But his admission comes very late, though, as Malva’s passing destroys Claire’s life and changes everything for his father, Tom Christie as well.
