Severance Episode 8 will release very soon, and the team will be preparing a plan for rebellion against Lumon. The official synopsis simply states, “The team prepares a plan. Mark attends Devon and Ricken’s party.” We’ll expand upon the synopsis and what’s to come shortly. Ben Stiller returns to helm the Episode, with Chris Black penning the teleplay. With this entry in the First Season, we have already arrived at the penultimate Episode.
The cast for Severance includes the lead, Mark, played by Adam Scott. Britt Lower plays the role of Helly, and Patricia Arquette is Harmony Cobel. Zach Cherry plays Dylan, Tramell Tillman is Milchick, and Jen Tullock plays Devon. John Turturro plays the character of Irving, Dichen Lachman is Ms. Casey, and Christopher Walken plays the character of Burt. Episode 8 is set to release on April 1, 2022, at 3:00 am ET, on Apple TV+. In the penultimate Episode of the First Season, we’re going to see Mark attending Devon and Ricken’s party. Meanwhile, the team is preparing a plan. Cobel is still busy with Devon, and it’ll be interesting to see what her next step to thwart the innies is. The title for the Episode is “What’s for Dinner”. One of the most significant parts of the upcoming Episode will be Mark’s meeting with Casey. We now know that Ms. Casey is actually Mark’s wife, Gemma. Although we haven’t gotten any tease or promotional material for an Upcoming Episode of Severance so far, we do now.

In the official exclusive clip for Episode 8, we see Mark and Casey interacting. It seems that Mark will try to save Casey. At one point in the exclusive clip, Casey asks Mark why does he care what happens to her. Mark replies, “because we’re people, not parts of people”. Meanwhile, Cobel is in her office watching the interaction on her TV. It’s unclear right now if Mark is his outside self or an innie. If we had to venture a guess, it might be that they haven’t yet performed the Overtime Contingency. Mark is just there to get Casey with them as well.
