Slice-of-life anime are anime series that depict the everyday lives of people in a realistic or semi-realistic manner. In particular, it interests the everyday lives of people in Japan.
Slice-of-life anime are often set in high school or college settings, depicting day-to-day activities such as attending classes or hanging out with friends. Unlike many other popular anime genres, the characters in this genre are well-developed and have realistic personalities.
As we know, animes like Attack on Titan, My Hero Academia, and Demon Slayer are the best known for their action, animation, and what not, but they still lack something. I believe it’s a sense of realism. Slice of Life anime gives you exactly what every other genre lacks.
With its awesome animation, awesome visuals, OSTs, Songs, and indefinite anime traits, we get to see normal life on screen. Slice on Life anime focuses on the daily life of Japanese natives.
One of the main reasons for this genre to be famous on the western side is how these animes show the culture and art of Japan.
Despite a viewer’s preference, anyone can enjoy this genre. I personally watch this genre to see the beauty of Japan and its culture. Japan has so many different forms of culture from music to arts.
I solely watch a slice of anime to get peace of mind. If you haven’t been watching this genre, then you must start now. So for you to start here is the recommendation for the…

Dera the bird decides to stick around Tamako after the encounter and becomes a part of her life and the neighborhood she lives in. There is not much for the plot.
While Tamako is really sweet and likable, Dera is annoying and eccentric. This show also shows different types of mochi and their making.
