Till The End of The Moon Episode 17 & 18 Recap
In episodes 17 and 18, we see Sang Jiu turning into a demon to avenge the tragic death of her tribe, as she promises herself to calm down only after killing all her enemies. After acquiring all the power, she arrives at Tian Huan’s place and kills her and the other people at the palace.
On learning about Sang Jiu’s change, Ming Ye meets Sang Jiu. He gets shocked to see Sang Jiu’s change in behavior. Sang Jiu shows him a gem that she forged with the divine essence of the entire Flying Serpent clan.
Ming Ye warns her about the consequences of using the gem. When Sang Jiu holds up her sword in front of Ming Ye for a fight, she thinks that Ming Ye wants her to pay for the consequences of her life. At that moment, Ming Ye voluntarily walks toward Sang Jiu and pierces the sword in his chest.
Therefore, Ming Ye sacrifices himself by taking on Sang Jiu’s punishment. He offers his divine essence for her devil bone. Seeing Ming Ye’s condition, Sang Jiu expresses that she won’t ever forgive him, whether he is dead or alive.
Ming Ye wishes for Sang Jiu to keep hating him instead of turning into a demon. As soon as Ming Ye closes his eyes, the scene is cut to, Sang Jiu opening the blindfold from Ming Ye’s eyes. Before he opens his eyes, Sang Jiu combs Ming Ye’s hair and cares for him. When Ming Ye finally opens his eyes and sees Sang Jiu, he is seen to be surprised as well as happy.
