The intense MMA competition series “The Ultimate Fighter” will be returning with a new episode this week. With Michael’s team managing to bag the first round, McGregor’s team knows what they’re dealing with now. These seasoned UFC veterans are not here for fun and are willing to do anything to take home the trophy. As for the prospects, even though they might have less experience, they are willing to adapt and get ahead in the game.
The Ultimate Fighter was created by Crag Piligan, Frank Fertitta III, Lorenzo Fertitta, and Dana White. It started airing its episodes on national television on January 17th, 2005 and is still going as strong as it did years ago. It was the Forrest Griffin vs. Stephan Bonnar fight that propelled the show into fame, and it soon started gaining millions of viewers per episode. The Ultimate Fighter is also responsible for the sport being so popular, as it is what created many of the talented MMA fighters that exist in UFC.
A total of 12 new contestants will be brought in for this season of The Ultimate Fighter. This time the coaches were selected to be none other than the infamous Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler, both of whom are extremely skilled MMA Fighters. The Michael-Conor fight may be much awaited, but these fights between the prospects and veterans are no less entertaining.
The Ultimate Fighter Season 31: What Happened in Episode 1?
In the previous episode, we see both of the new coaches being introduced, which were Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler. Both of these people are skilled MMA fighters who’ve been in many games and championships. Chandler joined UFC in 2020, while McGregor has been in it since 2013. The players this season will be both veterans and new young players. After a coin flip, it s decoded that Conor will be taking care of the younger group, while Michael handles all the vets.
Once the teams are all sorted out, both the vets and the prospects head over to their new home in Las Vegas, where they’ll be staying for around 12 weeks. Kurt Holobaugh from the Lightweights claims he could easily finish off the rest of the contestants in the first round. As the second day arrives, everyone prepares for a day of tough training. Ryan Bader is hired as the assistant coach for Michael’s team. Chandler is glad that he got ahold of the veterans, as they already have an idea about things and have more humility.
Meanwhile, Team McGregor arrives at their training session. Right off the bat, the prospects are made to go through intense training that matches McGregor’s style. After the Ultimate Fighter training comes the fight announcements. The following consists of all the quarterfinal fights:

Nate talks about his family back home whom he wants to make proud of. Roosevelt practices hard for the upcoming match, with Michael guiding him through it all. McGregor makes sure that Nate can fight Roosevelt with all his might. Later that night Roosevelt has a BBQ night and gets back to the vigorous training the next day. The strength behind Roosevelt’s determination was his children. The day of the competition arrives and Jeff Mullen, who’s the executive director of the Nevada Athletic Commission calls Roosevelt and Nate into the ring. Roosevelt wins this time.

The next thrilling episode of The Ultimate Fighter will be aired on June 6th, 2023. New episodes of this cutthroat MMA competition usually come out on Tuesdays, and each episode can last from anywhere around 46 to 52 minutes.
