The Time of the Terminally ill Extra Chapter 66 will be airing this weekend! In the last chapter of the Manhwa. Karina was seen to lay on bed rest after another seizure, but Miraion quickly got her energized again after taking her on a romantic walk.
Miraion had been going hunting for demonic beasts in hopes of curing his lovers sickness, and was finally down to a single mob led by Commander Hertha.
The upcoming chapter will witness a possibly healthier Karina after encouragement from the Duke, and also Carlos finding out more information on Hertha and other demonic beats to hep Karina.
Recap
Duke Miraion had returned with the knights after killing a number of demonic beasts. Meanwhile Carlos stayed dedicated to the process of finding out how these demonic beasts came to being.
While researching, Carlos noticed that his face was now looking extremely burnt out as he had stayed up continuously for the past three days. Just a few hours ago the Captain of the Knights returned with the beasts they had captured and Carlos told them he’d examine their bodies after taking some rest.
When Carlos is about to leave his place, Duke Miraion comes to vist him. He tells the Duke that he did find some information on the Haron and how it could be used. Carlos believed that it was possible to save Karina from her terminal illness but the chances were very low.
He goes on to tell the Duke that the prerequisite is also quite unstable which makes Miraion confused, but Carlos simply tells him he’ll update further after confirming all his suspicions. Mirion tells him not to lie about the information anymore and believes in his heart that Carlos has good news.
He said the possibility of treating Karina was low, which meant that there must be a way to increase that probablity and make it fool proof. The Duke tells himself to keep it a secret from Karina for now and returns back to the palace to meet her.
They had collected a number of demonic beasts over the past two months despite them being hard to site in the forests. However, the group that was left by commander Hertha was the toughest to battle with hindering their subjugation.
They had ambushed the knights at the base and became more powerful. Meanwhile, Karina’s condition kept getting worse by the minute. Luckily the Haron next to her took some of the pain away, but it wasn’t going to be easy as Karina would often risk her life when she couldn’t paint.
When Duke Miraion finally reaches the Palace, he’s informed that Karina’s condition isn’t improving, and they’re worried on what to do. When Karina wakes up, Miraion offers to take her on a walk. She was in bed all day because she felt weak, so he wanted to find a way to lift her spirits.
Miraion carries Karina on his back and he takes her on a walk after covering her with a blanket. Outside, Karina was enjoying her time with Miraion and smiled at him. This relieved the Duke as it had been a long time since he had seen Karina happy.
Karina on the other hand was depressed at her own condition. She knew she wasn’t herself anymore and didn’t know how much longer she had to live a normal life before going mad, but Miraion reassures her saying she must live even if it’s for him.
He asks her out on a date for the following day and gives her a kiss as they head back to the palace.
