After calling Ard out to the Tree of Sword King, she pulled out the Holy Sword Vald Galgulus which everyone thought was just a replica buried in that tree. Now, Sylphy wishes to use this weapon which used to belong to her sister, Lydia. Along with Vald Galgulus, she pulls out another sword Demise-Argis.
Ard realizes there’s someone behind this manipulation. But, she already started attacking. Later, it was revealed that the masked guy showed her what happened in the past and that her sister doesn’t exist anymore. And Ard Varvatos had something to do with Lydia’s end. Ard had to get back in his original look. As soon as he turns into Varvatos, Sylphy tries to attack. But, Lydia’s voice stopped her. It was her spirit talking to Sylphy. Then the masked guy arises, knocks Sylphy down, and tries to wield her Holy Sword. But, Holy Sword chooses its wielder. So, the masked guy fails. In the process, he loses his arm and gets defeated by Varvatos. In the end, Lydia’s spirit helps Sylphy to move on.

We expect that now, the relationship between Sylphy and Ard will improve from the next episode. But what bugs us is that we saw the masked man got defeated easily. We don’t think that he’s dead. Not before revealing who he really is, at least. And, we do have an idea about who can be. We saw that, during their play, in the beginning, Ard had his memory jogged. There was a guy with them who seemed close to Varvatos, Sylphy, as well as Lydia. Our gut feeling says this mysterious masked guy could be that guy from the past. And he holds Varvatos responsible for Lydia’s death. Or, maybe he has his own hidden agenda here. Who knows? We’ll know all about it in the future.
