Nexon has released The First Descendant Hotfix 1.3.32b, addressing two high-priority issues affecting players on Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox. The emergency update follows Patch 1.3.32 and focuses on improving gameplay stability by fixing a crash tied to Valby’s abilities while also correcting a Battle Pass progression bug.

According to the official patch notes, players should reconnect to the game after downloading the update to ensure the fixes are applied correctly. The hotfix went live on June 26, 2026, at 7:30 PM PDT, and is now available across all supported platforms.

While the latest update is relatively small compared to Patch 1.3.32, it resolves problems that directly impacted gameplay and progression, making it an important download for active players.

The First Descendant Hotfix 1.3.32b fixes the Valby crash and the Battle Pass challenge

The headline fix in Hotfix 1.3.32b addresses a crash involving Valby’s “Laundry Bomb” skill. Nexon confirmed that the game could crash when players used the ability after equipping Valby’s “Tidal Wave” Transcendent Module. The issue has now been resolved, preventing unexpected game crashes during combat.

The update also fixes a Battle Pass progression problem tied to the “Emergency Infiltration Team” Weekly Challenge. Before the hotfix, players supporting another Infiltration Operation while clearing “Bastion of Immortality” were not receiving challenge progress as intended. Following the update, challenge completion should now register correctly.

Nexon said:

“Descendants, please reconnect to the game after the patch to ensure smoother gameplay.”

Although Hotfix 1.3.32b only contains two fixes, both target issues that affected gameplay stability and player progression, making the update worthwhile for anyone regularly using Valby or completing weekly Battle Pass objectives.

Patch 1.3.32 introduced gameplay improvements before the hotfix

Hotfix 1.3.32b arrives just two days after the larger Patch 1.3.32, which introduced several gameplay improvements and bug fixes across multiple systems.

One of the biggest changes revamped the Shape Stabilizer system. Instead of modifying drop probabilities, Shape Stabilizers now increase Shaping Count, allowing players to progress more efficiently when shaping Amorphous Materials. Common Shape Stabilizers now add one Shaping Count, while Advanced versions provide five.

The update also improved navigation by allowing players to launch Infiltration Operations and Special Operations directly from the World Map while in the field. Meanwhile, the Info Grid Extract feature now lets players dismantle obsolete blueprints into Info Grid Tokens, providing a new use for previously unusable crafting materials.

Patch 1.3.32 also delivered a wide range of bug fixes affecting Descendants, equipment, missions, UI, Onslaught Mode, monsters, and customization. Among the notable fixes were improvements for Bunny, Ultimate Bunny, Ines, and Valby, corrections to Bastion of Immortality objectives, and several interface and progression fixes across Battle Pass challenges and Special Orders.

With Hotfix 1.3.32b now live, Nexon has quickly addressed two of the most disruptive issues introduced after the previous update, ensuring smoother gameplay while players continue exploring the latest content in The First Descendant.
