Nexon has shared the latest results of its weekly enforcement campaign for The First Descendant, detailing actions taken against players who violated the game’s operational policies.

Covering the period from July 3 to July 9, 2026 (PDT), the crackdown targeted users involved in cheating, payment fraud, abnormal transactions, and suspicious gameplay activity. The studio said the measures are part of its ongoing effort to ensure a fair and enjoyable environment for all players.

Permanent bans issued for cheating and payment fraud

According to Nexon’s latest enforcement report, 17 accounts received permanent bans for creating, distributing, or using unauthorized programs. The company also permanently banned nine additional users for exploiting processes related to the game’s Open Store payment system to obtain unfair benefits.

In addition, one account was issued a seven-day trading restriction after abnormal transaction records were detected. Nexon noted that players who believe they were incorrectly penalized for payment-related issues can submit an appeal through the game’s official customer support channels.

The largest enforcement category involved unusual gameplay activity. Nexon confirmed that 426 players were placed into separate matchmaking for three days after automated monitoring and player reports identified suspicious behavior that violated the game’s operational policies.

Rather than issuing immediate bans, this penalty isolates affected users from the general matchmaking pool while allowing further monitoring of their in-game activity.

Nexon encourages players to continue reporting abuse

In its announcement, Nexon reminded players to use The First Descendant’s in-game reporting feature whenever they encounter suspicious or abusive behavior. The developer stated that enforcement decisions are based on a combination of player reports and internal monitoring systems.

The company added,

“We will continue to strive to ensure that all Descendants can enjoy the game in a pleasant environment,”

reaffirming its commitment to maintaining fair competition through regular enforcement updates.
