With a new set of stories that are sure to bring out your emotions, Strong Heart League, also known as Brave Heart League or Thumbnail Battle, will be returning with a new episode this week. Last week, both Team Seung Gi and Team Ho Dong had interesting stories that left many in awe.
The history of the Strong Heart League goes back to 2009 when the show was seen on television for the first time ever. Although this Korean show had a great start, Strong Heart League was stopped and was later brought back to life by SBS in 2023.
The concept of both Thumbnail Battle parts remained the same, where we see about 20 people appearing on stage to share their stories. The contestants are divided into teams and the team with the most interesting stories wins the Strong Heart League battle of the day.
The tales don’t have to be based on any genre or person, they should just be impactful enough to make them win the competition. Each contestant makes an eye-catching thumbnail to hint at what they’ll be talking about.
Since Strong Heart League is a great place to share any thoughts or talk about personal stories, celebrities and other famous people have used the show to clarify the rumors surrounding them. This South Korean show has also helped in providing a platform for many small artists that just need a little recognition.
Strong Heart League Episode 3: Recap
In the previous episode of Strong Heart League, the contestants celebrate Memorial Day by honoring it through stories. We are introduced to Coach Park Hang Seo of team Ho Dong, regarded as nationally prestigious. The other team of Seung Gi has someone strong as well, which is Han Soo Yeon, who had predecessors that fought for independence.
Ye Won is back on the set of Strong Heart League after a long time and is nervous at first to meet everyone again. They ask her to talk about the behind-the-scenes stories of Narcos Saints, a thriller series that’s supposedly based on true events. Kim Ye Won portrays the role of Jeon Yo-hwan’s wife. When the one on one battle begins, Coach Park Hang Seo is the one to go first. The rest of the contestants bring out the rumor that Coach was asked to become a citizen of Vietnam and ask if it was true. He reveals that it was true but he was born and raised in South Korea, so he politely declined the citizenship.
Coach Park Hang Seo’s thumbnail says “I Became the Coach of Vietnam due to my short height”, a title that surely creates curiosity in those who hear it. Among 200 to 300 who applied for the job of coach of the Vietnamese football team, Coach Seo was the one to be selected as he was the same height as Vietnamese men. Since Coach Seo was 165 cm while he was a football player, he would know the exact tips and tricks to score well despite an average height, and this was the reason the players had requested the Association to make him their coach.
Another competing pair last episode is SBS’s Radio show hosts. Kim Young Chul’s Thumbnail explains that he would be revealing something about Shim Eun Ha. Since there was an article about Shim Eun Ha recently, his clarifying the situation would provide a good story and also clear air around the actress.
