We will see Daven and his group working to uncover the conspiracy that surrounds the city. But, given the events that preceded it, it is clear that it is clear that is won’t be an easy fight between the two factions. And that is what will make Standard of Reincarnation Chapter 80 an interesting read along with future chapters.
This whole thing began after Daven cleared up his name as a traitor who betrayed his country and family, among other things. But, the fantasy series protagonist had a trick up his sleeve that would help clear his name. And take care of the people who would become his enemies down the line, and even restore his family’s faith in him.
Now, Daven, along with his associates, was tasked to look into a matter that involved Adencus and Hellaim. Things were simple when he and his team got to the country, but the more they looked, the less it made sense. This led them to do an investigation and find some shady things about their border nation that had machination of Tyranny.

Standard of Reincarnation Chapter 80 might see a bit more of Vargon and Merlin. The two have been out of action for a while, ever since the focus has shifted heavily toward the politics of the world. And seeing as how Vargon mentioned that Merlin should meet Daven, it is likely it will happen soon.
As for Daven, he will be busy with the authority that is trying to rule their little capital. Given what we have been given so far, it is clear that no pirates are attacking the city from the sea. And the unaffected walls are the proof of it, confirmed by none other than Julian, who climbed to see what was wrong with them.
That, combined with what they found at the Vior Family storehouse, makes it clear that higher-ups are responsible for the misery of the country. The reasoning for doing that will be revealed after the fight between the two groups has taken place. Though, it would be nothing more than a power struggle.

Standard of Reincarnation Chapter 79 starts with Daven recounting all the facts he knows about the city and its inhabitants. The city is supposed to be under a protection spell that could withstand anything, but it has the problem of pirate invasion. Moreover, the recent poverty only makes things worse for the residents who are suffering from their lives.
Daven started to ponder over things, and the picture that was forming in his head was not a good one. He sent out his brother Julian to look at the condition of the walls that were protecting the city. Then, he, along with his associates, made for the nearest church that was responsible for managing the city and its inhabitants.
There, they met the third-rank priest, who was noted as interested in their queries or their struggles. He immediately ignored them and started talking to his subordinates about Sunburnt Dereliet’s Camp, which was the property of the Vior Family for storage. The priest’s attitude was even more fishy as he seemed unbothered by the condition of the city or the attack that occurred soon after.
