Our main character Mitsuha Yamano doesn’t fail to make us feel envious of her life. I mean, come on, at some point, everyone has thought of a job that involved traveling over the world and getting paid. Mitsuha is pretty much doing the same thing, but this does not mean that she faced no hardships whatsoever.
You see, Mitsuha, up until recently, had a pretty bad life, and it was on the verge of her death that she was given this opportunity that can make up for all the difficulties she faced by moving around and collecting money for retirement. What makes this anime unique is that, unlike other Isekai anime, in this anime, Mitsuha can jump in and out of both worlds willingly.
Mitsuha has set a goal of collecting two billion yen which is approximately 80,000 gold coins in the world she travels to. To achieve this goal, Mitsuha has chosen a particular set of steps that will bring her closer to achieving her goal.
Saving 80,000 Gold in Another World for My Retirement started airing on 8th January 2023 and is doing pretty well so far. With 3 episodes out, this anime did a decent job of capturing the interest of fans around the world with its unique pacing and world-building.

This Episode starts with Mitsuha going to count Bozes’s residence and then being stopped by the guards telling her that she cannot enter without a letter of appointment. So she proceeds to devise a plan. She purposely acts injured in front of the carriage in which the sons of the count were and feeling accountable, and the sons take her back to their mansion
Once inside the count’s residence, Mitsuha started to play with her words. She did not particularly lie to Count Bozes and his family but framed the truth in such a way that her story would feel genuine for them to believe it. Mitsuha shared a lively dinner with count Bozes and told him about her plans to make money in this foreign land.
With all the questions, Mitsuha played around very carefully and succeeded in gaining the trust of the Count which will help her further in her plan of collecting 80,000 gold coins. The next morning with the aim of making money by selling cheap generic items of value in this world, Mitsuha leaves the Count’s residence and continues her journey to the Capital.
