Ruri is just an ordinary girl—at least, that’s what she thought. She goes to school, deals with pushy classmates, listens to her annoying teachers, and most of all, she loves to be lazy. If given the choice, she would spend all day sleeping, eating snacks, and avoiding anything that requires effort.
But one morning, everything changes.
Ruri wakes up feeling strange. Her head feels heavy, and something seems different about her body. When she stumbles into the bathroom to check the mirror, she gasps in shock—she has dragon horns. Two curved, sharp horns have grown from her head overnight. She rubs her eyes, thinking it must be a dream, but no—it’s real. She touches them, feeling their smooth surface. What is happening to her?
Before she can even process the situation, her little brother bursts into the room, sees the horns, and immediately screams. That’s when her parents come rushing in, and instead of being shocked, they simply sigh.
Her mother sits her down and explains the truth—Ruri is not just a normal human. She belongs to a rare family of dragon people, and at a certain age, their dragon traits start to awaken. That means scales, claws, and even the ability to breathe fire might appear soon.
Ruri is not happy about this. Being part dragon sounds like a lot of work. She doesn’t want to be powerful or special—she just wants to stay in bed and take naps. But it seems like she has no choice but to accept this part of herself.

Ruri Dragon Plot
The next challenge comes when she has to go to school with dragon horns. Her classmates are curious, excited, and even a little scared. Some try to touch her horns, while others ask if she can breathe fire. The teachers struggle to handle the situation, unsure of how to treat a half-dragon student. Despite all the attention, Ruri just wants to continue her lazy lifestyle. But things don’t go as planned.
Gym class becomes a disaster when her dragon strength makes her too powerful. During lunch, she accidentally burns her food trying to warm it with a tiny flame. Her classmates won’t stop asking her questions, making it impossible to nap during class.
As time passes, Ruri slowly starts adapting to her new life. She learns to control her abilities, gets used to the attention, and even discovers fun parts of being a dragon, like being able to fly. But no matter what happens, Ruri always finds time to be lazy. Whether it’s sleeping on the school rooftop, dodging homework, or using her dragon powers to do less work, she stays true to herself.
In the end, Ruri’s life has changed forever, but one thing remains the same—she’ll always find a way to take it easy.
