Reincarnator Chapter 8 will be airing this coming weekend, and fans are eager to find out what will go down between Taesung and Sangjin after last week’s chapter left everyone on a cliffhanger.
Continuing their journey at the Gangnam station, Taesung was getting angry at Hansoo for taking the lead.
Not only did he feel like he wasn’t getting enough runes, but he also felt like Hansoo was trying to be better than them by going ahead. He lashes out his anger at Sangjin, who is terrified of the whole situation.
The upcoming chapter of Reincarnator will witness all four of them moving on after killing the mermaids and possibly finding more enemies. Taesung will have to solve his issues before he leads the group into trouble.
Recap
Still, at the Gangnam station, Hansoo notices the wet traces that the mermaids had left behind. The mermaids weren’t exactly quick, but their venom could paralyze them, which would easily allow them to tear off the limbs of everyone around.
While Hansoo is thinking of a way to fight the mermaids, Taesung is getting impatient and tells Hansoo to quickly tell them what he is thinking instead of keeping it to himself. Hansoo had earlier bought some bottles from the convenience store to make fireballs.
Taesung wouldn’t stop pestering Hansoo but he simply ignores all his taunts and tells everyone the plan.
One of them would be responsible for throwing the firebomb at the mermaids, and buy time for the other three to go forward with the attack. He also mentions that the one at the front will have more runes to gain.
Hansoo asks who’ll be the one throwing the firebomb while Taesung at the back confidently won’t stop blabbering on how he’d be taking the lead.
Mihee and Sangjin both wanted to be the ones throwing the firebombs. Mihee tried to charm Sangjin with her puppy eyes, but he stuck with his decision.
Seeing that neither of them was ready to give up the position, Hansoo told them to take turns, and all four of them began to move further into the station.
Meanwhile, Sangjin was still scared of the whole situation and only went along because he didn’t want to be alone.
He wondered if anyone else felt the same and noticed Mihee shivering. Hansoo tells them to be alert as the mermaids approach them. Hearing the noises, Hansoo tells Mihee to throw a firebomb and instantly rushes to attack along with Taesung.
He warns them to be careful of their paralyzing venom as he charges forward. Taesung, on the other hand, was unable to keep up with Hansoo. He was worried Hansoo would take all the runes and got distracted till a mermaid pounced on him.
Luckily, the venom on the blade of his knife that Hansoo bought came in handy. Taesung grew confident and went to grab the runes on the florr, but got attacked by a mermaid again. Cornered, he screams for help, but Mihee is out of fireballs.
Taesung threatens Sangjin, but he isn’t able to help because of how scared he is. Hansoo notices them and comes to their rescue- killing both the mermaid in front of Taesung and the one who was stealing the fireball. He tells them to stop arguing and to collect the runes.
Seeing how little he was able to get, Taesung decides to unleash his anger on Sangjin. He holds him responsible for him losing his runes and chokes him in a fit of rage.
