Jack Reacher returned with three thrilling episodes that saw him head to Maine on a dangerous mission. His main goal was to find and take down Lt. Francis Xavier Quinn, an enemy from his past. Jack had previously shot Quinn in the head and left him for dead because Quinn had betrayed the military.
He had sold classified information to hostile nations and had also hurt Dominique Kohl, Jack’s protégé. Jack believed Quinn had drowned, but against all odds, he survived. Now, he had taken on a new identity as Julius McCabe and had gained control over Zachary Beck’s rug business, Bizarre Bazaar. Under this cover, Quinn was using Beck’s trade routes for illegal activities.
At the same time, DEA agent Susan Duffy had sent an informant, Teresa Daniel, to investigate Beck’s operations. Unfortunately, Teresa had disappeared. Duffy feared that Beck and his men had either kidnapped or killed her. Since both Jack and Duffy were focused on Beck’s estate, Jack decided to infiltrate Beck’s world.
His goal was to rescue Teresa and eliminate Quinn. However, this task was not easy. Beck had an army of guards and a massive bodyguard who was even bigger than Jack himself.
Despite the risks, Jack managed to earn Beck’s trust and became his second-in-command. He cleverly framed Quinn’s men for attempting to kidnap Beck’s son, Richard. He also arranged for Beck’s right-hand man to be taken out in a staged shootout. But Jack’s mission was far from over.
In the fourth episode of Reacher Season 3, Jack moved even closer to facing Quinn. However, new threats emerged, and the situation became more dangerous than ever.

Jack Remembers Dominique Kohl
The fourth episode begins with Zachary Beck confronting Julius McCabe. Zachary believes that McCabe’s men betrayed him by trying to kidnap his son, Richard. He feels grateful to Jack for stopping the attack. After ensuring Zachary’s safety at home, Jack excuses himself, claiming he needs to grab some food. In reality, he meets up with Duffy, Guillermo, and Eliot.
Jack apologizes to Duffy for destroying a DEA safehouse. He had done so to erase all evidence of Duke’s murder. Then, they examine photos taken by Duffy and Guillermo. The images show a large shipment arriving at Bizarre Bazaar’s warehouse in Maine. Jack immediately recognizes Julius McCabe. He is none other than Quinn, the man Jack had tried to kill years ago.
Duffy wants to know more about Jack’s past with Quinn. At first, Jack remains silent. The memories are painful, and he does not like discussing them. However, Duffy gets frustrated with his lack of response. Seeing her reaction, Jack finally agrees to share his story.
Years ago, before Jack formed the elite 110th unit, he was investigating a case involving an Army specialist named Roland Gorowski. General Leon Garber had assigned Sergeant Dominique Kohl to assist Jack. Jack had always been a lone wolf, so he was not happy about working with someone else. But his opinion changed almost immediately. Kohl was an exceptional investigator.
Kohl quickly came up with a theory. She believed that Gorowski was not acting alone. She suspected that someone was forcing him to commit crimes. She figured out that he was selling information at a local park. Jack and Kohl decided to conduct surveillance together.
While on the stakeout, they bonded over their childhoods, their fathers, and their shared love for hunting. The moment was heartwarming, but they failed to catch Gorowski in action. He completed his deal right under their noses.
Even though Jack had no solid proof against Gorowski, he believed that pressure would break him. Jack put Gorowski in an interrogation room and let Kohl take the lead. Kohl was such a skilled investigator that she instinctively handled the situation like Jack.
Eventually, Gorowski confessed. He revealed that Quinn had kidnapped his four-year-old daughter. Quinn was using her as leverage, forcing Gorowski to sell military secrets.
Since Quinn was a lieutenant, he had strong connections and knew how to cover his tracks. He was dangerous, and if he even suspected someone was investigating him, he would strike first. This meant Jack and Kohl had to be extremely careful.
With help from Private Anthony Frasconi, they identified Quinn’s buyer, Safwan Qasim. He was a Syrian military officer purchasing classified information. Jack, Kohl, and Frasconi fought Qasim’s men and arrested Qasim.
They needed to confirm whether the information Quinn was selling was real. Once Jack secured the documents, Qasim was expelled from the country. However, the case was far from over.
Quinn’s Brutality and Kohl’s Fate
Frasconi discovered Quinn’s temporary hideout. Once Kohl confirmed that Quinn was dealing in real military secrets, she teamed up with Frasconi to arrest him. Unfortunately, things did not go as planned.
During the confrontation, Frasconi died trying to protect Kohl. Jack had warned him not to let his feelings for Kohl cloud his judgment. In a dangerous situation, emotions could be fatal. Sadly, Jack was right. Quinn took Kohl hostage.
Jack and Garber worked together to locate Quinn’s safe house. They knew Quinn would need an isolated location to interrogate Kohl. Jack did not wait for backup. He went straight to Quinn and confronted him. He dragged Quinn to a ledge near his house and shot him in the head.
Quinn fell into the river below. Jack had used Quinn’s own gun, which fired small-caliber bullets. The shot did not fully penetrate Quinn’s skull. It only caused memory loss.
Even though Jack took down Quinn, he could not save Kohl. The show does not show exactly what Quinn did to her, but it is clear that she suffered a horrific death. Her brutal fate was so disturbing that even Jack, who never broke under pressure, was deeply shaken.
Duffy and Guillermo Walk Into a Trap
In the present day, Guillermo assures Jack that Quinn will not escape justice this time. Meanwhile, Duffy compares her actions to Jack’s. She had forced Teresa into danger, while Jack had given Kohl a choice.
Jack had trained Kohl and only sent her in when he believed she was ready. Even though they underestimated Quinn, Kohl had made the decision herself.
In contrast, Duffy had pressured Teresa by lying to her. She had told Teresa that her past drug use would ruin her life if she did not participate in the mission. Now, Duffy felt guilty for her choices, just as Jack felt responsible for Kohl’s fate.
While Duffy wrestles with guilt, Jack returns to Beck’s home. He talks to Annette, the maid, and Agnes, the cook. He learns that Zachary’s 50th birthday is coming up. Wealthy politicians and businessmen will attend because they benefit from Zachary’s success. Zachary, in turn, enjoys the influence that comes with their company.
The next day, Annette brings Jack new clothes. Since he is now Beck’s second-in-command, he must look presentable. The clothes look almost identical to his old outfit, but at least they are clean. Later, Jack teaches Richard boxing lessons, using them as a way to teach life skills.
Meanwhile, Guillermo and Duffy follow a lead to a warehouse. Angel Doll’s laptop has brought them there, and they hope to find crucial information. However, they do not know that Quinn is tracking the laptop. He has already sent his men to retrieve it and eliminate anyone using it.
Zachary orders Jack to investigate the same location, believing that Angel Doll’s associates must be punished. Jack realizes that Guillermo and Duffy are in danger and rushes to save them.
However, there are two major problems. First, Quinn’s men have already arrived at the warehouse. Second, Jack cannot reach Duffy’s phone, so he does not know exactly where she and Guillermo are. Jack’s outdated phone cannot track locations. Only Eliot can, but he is busy dealing with Beck’s driver. Even if Jack contacts Eliot, it might be too late.
Jack Reacher’s mission has become more personal and dangerous than ever. What started as a plan to take down Quinn has turned into a battle against his own past mistakes and unresolved guilt.
His failure to save Dominique Kohl still haunts him, and now he faces the possibility of losing more allies. Duffy’s guilt over sending Teresa into danger mirrors Jack’s regrets, making their fight against Quinn even more intense.
Meanwhile, Quinn is always one step ahead, using his power and influence to stay hidden and eliminate threats. With Guillermo and Duffy walking into a trap, Jack must act fast. But time is not on his side, and his limited resources make the situation even riskier.
As the episode ends on a nerve-wracking cliffhanger, the question remains—will Jack save his friends, or will Quinn claim more victims? The next episode promises high-stakes action, emotional conflicts, and unexpected twists.
