Ash Ketchum is the main protagonist of the Pokemon anime series, which follows his journey as a Pokemon trainer. Ash is a young boy from Pallet Town in the Kanto region who has always dreamed of becoming a Pokemon Master. On the day he turns ten years old, he is finally old enough to receive his first Pokemon and begin his journey.
Ash’s journey begins when he receives a Pikachu as his first Pokemon. Pikachu is initially uncooperative and refuses to go inside its Pokeball, but Ash eventually earns its trust, and the two become close friends. Ash and Pikachu travel through the Kanto region, collecting Gym Badges and competing in the Pokemon League. Along the way, they meet a variety of other trainers, including Misty and Brock, who become Ash’s traveling companions.
As Ash’s journey continues, he travels to other regions, such as the Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova, and Kalos regions, where he meets new friends and faces new challenges. In each region, Ash competes in Pokemon leagues and battles against powerful trainers, including Gym Leaders and the Elite Four.
Throughout his journey, Ash becomes more skilled as a trainer and learns valuable lessons about friendship and teamwork. He also learns about the importance of taking care of and respecting Pokemon. As Ash continues his journey, he meets a variety of new friends and Pokemon, including Misty, Brock, May, Max, Dawn, Iris, Cilan, Serena, Bonnie, Clemont, Lillie, and Mallow. Together, they travel through different regions, learning about the unique cultures and traditions of each place.
Ash also encounters a number of powerful trainers and organizations, including the evil Team Rocket, who try to use Pokemon for their own nefarious purposes. Ash and his friends work together to stop their plans and protect the Pokemon.
Throughout his journey, Ash’s ultimate goal is to become a Pokemon master, which requires him to collect Gym Badges, win Pokemon League tournaments, and defeat the Elite Four. As he battles against these powerful trainers, Ash learns valuable lessons about friendship, teamwork, and the importance of caring for and respecting Pokemon.
As Ash’s journey continues, he grows as a trainer and becomes more skilled at using and understanding the strengths and abilities of his Pokemon. He also learns about the different types of Pokemon and how to use them in battle effectively.
Pokemon Journeys End Date: Is This The End Of An Era?
Eventually, Ash becomes strong enough to compete in the Pokemon World Championship, where he battles against the best trainers from around the world. It is unknown if Ash has become the Pokemon World Champion, as my knowledge was cut off in 2021 and I do not have access to updated information about the current events in the Pokemon anime series.
As it would be an understatement to say that the Pokemon anime was in a strange spot going into this episode, after all, over the past month, Ash Ketchum (Satoshi) won the World coronation series to become the reigning World Champion, Goh managed to track down the mythical Pokemon, Mew, the newest generation Pokemon video games, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet were released, and yet, the games have now been out for three weeks with no explicit confirmation with regards to how exactly the anime will continue from here on out.
The new generation anime series are typically announced prior to the release of the new generation video games. That said with the newest Japanese anime magazine, we can now look even into anime’s broadcasting pipeline and in short Pokemon Journey’s episode 135, ‘Pokemon I Am Glad I Met You’, is followed by Episode 136, ‘Ash & Goh! A New Journey Begins!’, on December 16th and thereafter we have an episode with a yet-to-be-announced title slotted for December 23rd, a broadcasting break on December 30th, and another episode with a yet-to-be-announced title scheduled for January 6.
In the most recent episode, Episode 136, Ash and Goh depart on a new journey. Whether or not they embark on this journey together or on their own, we have two more mysterious episodes in the tank.
