Phantom Blade Zero has reached a major milestone ahead of its October 29, 2026 release. Chinese developer S-GAME announced on September 18 that the highly anticipated action RPG has surpassed 3 million wishlists across PC and PlayStation 5, signaling strong interest before players can officially experience the game.
The milestone arrives as pre-orders continue to build on Steam. According to estimates from analytics firm Alinea Analytics, Phantom Blade Zero has accumulated roughly 300,000 Steam pre-orders, generating an estimated $14.5 million in revenue before launch. However, wishlists and pre-orders should not be treated as guaranteed sales, with the game’s eventual performance depending on how many players purchase it after release.
Phantom Blade Zero Builds Strong Pre-Launch Momentum
Phantom Blade Zero combines wuxia-inspired martial arts with dark fantasy, steampunk technology and supernatural elements. Players control Soul, an assassin who is resurrected after being killed and given only 66 days to resolve unfinished business.
Combat is a major focus, with Soul able to use 30 primary weapons and 20 secondary weapons and switch between them during battles. The game is expected to offer around 30 hours of main-story content alongside another 30–35 hours of side activities.

Interest received another boost after S-GAME revealed that martial arts star Donnie Yen has collaborated with the studio on combat choreography since 2023. Yen also appears in the game as a boss character, adding another notable connection to the project’s martial-arts presentation.
S-GAME celebrated the 3 million wishlist milestone through the official Phantom Blade Zero account on X, thanking players for supporting the game and confirming its October 29 launch.
The game will release on PS5 and PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store. No Xbox or last-generation PlayStation version has been announced.
