Our Beautiful Now Episode 16 promises its viewers an emotionally charged episode with a lot of high points accompanied by low moments. This episode is very relatable – Mi Rae tries to gauge the boundaries she needs to keep when dating Hyun Jae. Sure, she likes him, but it seems like Hyun Jae is keeping his cards close to his chest. It seems to Mi Rae’s mother and to the viewers as well that Mi Rae likes Hyun Jae more than he likes her. While every relationship has a partner that likes the other one more, it just feels that Mi Rae is setting herself for heartbreak.
At the same time, Our Beautiful Now Episode 16 also sees a lot of new developments in the lives of Yu Na and Soo Jae. Since both the elder brothers, Hyun Jae and Yoon Jae have declared to their family that they are dating someone, Soo Jae is getting insecure. He feels that if Yoon Jae or Hyun Jae get married before him, he would lose the apartment. Hyun Jae also declares that he will not bring Mi Rae about to meet his family, since he does not want her to feel that he (as in Hyun Jae) is only going to marry her for the apartment and not for love.

What To Expect in Our Beautiful Now Episode 16?
Hyun Mi Rae feels neglected in her relationship with Hyun Jae. It has only been two days, and there seems to be trouble in paradise already! Hyun Jae seems to prioritize work over Mi Rae, and so she had to eat dinner alone. It looks bad – they had to cancel their first date. Hyun Jae also has to consult a TV show writer regarding legal proceedings.
The TV show writer, Kim Yu Jin seems to like Hyun Jae after the first meeting, and it seems that he is ignoring her feelings or is oblivious to them. Mi Rae is in the office when Hyun Jae and Yu Jin are having their meeting and she instantly thinks that her mother was right when she called Hyun Jae a player. It seems that this couple cannot catch a break.
After the family meeting, when Hyun Jae declares that he is dating someone, all the three brothers go out for a basketball match and drink. The older brothers are not taking their relationships seriously, according to Soo Jae. What started off as a business deal between two friends has turned into real affection, and Soo Jae ditches his brothers to meet Yu Na. In a park, Soo Jae and Yu Na start to plan for their wedding, seeing that they do not want to lose out on the apartment to Hyun Jae or Yoon Jae. Soo Jae also mentions to Yu Na that he will only marry her once he has some stability in his life.
Yoon Jae and Hae Jun go out on an informal late-night date in the park near her apartment. Yoon Jae actually shows up unannounced at Hae Jun’s apartment and leaves her rice cakes while telling her to meet him at the park. Hae Jun rushes to put on makeup and meet Yoon Jae. Hae Jun does not like to be called “noona” because she feels that she cannot depend on Yoon Jae then. But Yoon Jae thinks that if he calls Hae Jun “noona,” it just makes their relationship stronger.
