Onna Dakara, to Party wo Tsuihou Sareta no de Densetsu no Majo to Saikyou Tag wo Kumimashita Synopsis
Tanya Artemiciov, the protagonist of this light novel, had been underestimated throughout her life solely for being a woman; she was told that she would never be able to achieve the things a man could achieve solely because of her gender. Out of spite, Tanya worked her way to become a Mage-class adventurer. It wasn’t an easy road, but she gave her all to prove those that held her down wrong.
After years of blood, sweat, and tears, Tanya finally managed to join a party with her friend Raian. The same friend, however, ended up stabbing her in the back and kicking her out of the party. She had been betrayed by someone she considered close – all because she was a girl.
The discrimination and unfairness raged Tanya. In the midst of her casting all these destructive spells out of anger and rage, a woman who called herself Laplace approached her. She claimed to come from a family belonging to a magical class of sorceresses.
This was skeptical for Tanya since this specific class of sorcerers was considered to be myths, to have gone extinct. But it became more believable when Laplace told her she was set free thanks to Tanya’s violent rampages in the wasteland. Freeing Laplace 300 years after being spellbound helped both of them achieve their individual goals with the same theme – revenge!
They decided to team up as a duo and participate in the Adventurers’ Sparring Tournament, which was right around the corner. This tournament pitted two parties against each other in a contest to see who would triumph victory over the other. These two outcasts, who were shunned by society for being a woman decided to stand up for themselves and go on a journey to seek justice and vengeance..
Romance is also hinted to spark between Tanya and Laplace as they spend more time with each other and bond over their struggles and hardships.
