Recap
My Happy Ending Episode 13’s teaser clip reveals that Jae-Won would be able to entice Young-Ik. She will find it easy to uncover his evil schemes and devise a plan to expose both him and his daughter. Te-Oh is able to save her while she handles the problem. My Happy Ending Episode 13 suggests that she may encounter a more challenging circumstance, though.
They think she’s the one responsible for the most recent hit-and-run incident. Jae-Won gives the news conference at which she discloses Young-Ik, while the investigating team takes an unexpected turn. It immediately causes the father-daughter relationship to become even more dysfunctional. But as the promo video plays, it seems like Jae-Won will soon be duped by someone who is closer to her.
After observing the tremendous drama in the previous episodes, Yoon Te-Oh hit Sang-Beom in My Happy Ending Episode 12, which saw Jae-Won taken home. When they noticed an intruder outside Te-Oh’s residence, she became worried for her safety.
She still desired to remain at home, but seeing her psychiatrist, Jo Su-Gyeong, as part of a hallucination was becoming problematic for her due to her mental state. Despite the toll it took on her mental state, Jae-Won did not hesitate to threaten Yoon-Jin.
She also promised to punish Yoon-Jin and her father, Young-Ik, for their transgressions. As the episode progressed, Nam Tae-Joo—a mysterious character—came into focus. Tae-Joo went immediately to see Jae-Won’s father as soon as he got to town to remind him of his previous transgressions.
Subsequently, it emerged that Jae-Won’s mother’s demise was caused by her father. However, Oh Soo-Jin, a rookie investigator, was tasked with looking into the situation.
He called Jae-Won right away to question her about the murder of Sun-Yeong. Even though the new detective’s interrogation went nowhere, his interaction with Tae-Joo hinted at bigger things to come. Could it have anything to do with Jae-Won’s confusing past and absent memory?
