Magnum P.I Season 4 Episode 20 arrives this week with it marking the conclusion of the ongoing installment. Along with being the final outing of Season 4, Episode 20 will also be about some chaotic new developments. At the center of the plot will be an immediate crisis involving Katsumoto’s ex-wife. However, before we unveil the spoilers for the next Episode, let’s recapitulate the previous one. In Episode 19, Magnum finally accepts his romantic feelings for Higgins. However, after coming to terms with those feelings, when he tries to act on them, Greg calls in and interrupts right when Magnum decides to ask Higgins out for a date.
Greg calls in because someone drugged him in Wisconsin, and he woke up after two days at a beach in Hawai’i. Magnum and Higgins head off to the place along with others. Investigations ensue, and they find that someone murdered Greg’s father and also that he was once an accomplice in a diamond heist. His partner’s granddaughter, as it turns out, was out to get the diamonds. And that’s the reason why she drugged and kidnapped Greg. Meanwhile, we also saw Higgins confiding in her psychiatrist that she has feelings for Magnum. However, she doesn’t want to let that ruin their friendship.
Magnum P.I. Season 4 Episode 20 Release Date & Preview
Magnum P.I. Season 4 Episode 20 will release on May 6, 2022. The official synopsis for the upcoming Episode reads, “Magnum and Higgins take on a dangerous mission inside a high-security correctional center when a ruthless criminal abducts Katsumoto’s ex-wife, Beth. Also, T.C. rushes to help Rick when Suzy has unexpected pregnancy complications.” Titled “Close to Home,” the Episode is directed by Bryan Spicer, with a teleplay by Eric Guggenheim.
The official trailer for the upcoming Episode doesn’t give away a lot. However, it does tease a possible confession of feelings from Higgins. She’s going to say what sounds like a disclaimer for a confession, with Magnum standing in front of her. However, likely, it won’t turn out to be what it hints at. A good possibility is that this confession-to-be will be cut off by something or someone. It will likely end up in a cliffhanger, with the fate of this relationship/dynamic postponed for the next Season (if it gets greenlit). Here’s the short promo clip for Magnum P.I. S04E20;
