Lightning Degree Chapter 173 Recap

Lightning Degree Chapter 173 starts with Ryu asking the red-haired guy’s opinion on what he would do about him killing everyone outside. The red-haired man asked if he would kill everyone out there or no one out there. To both of them, Ryu answered that it would be up to his judgment on who lives and dies in either of the cases.

Then, Ryu tells the red-haired man that he knows of his name and sends Ryung into a dark flashback. We are then brought back to the present when Ryu snaps him out of the dilemma by telling him he doesn’t care. This makes Ryeong open up to him and make a request.

We are then shown other characters talking to each other for quite a long time, and slow down once Ryo starts to play a Zither. Everybody was confused as to why Ryu was playing the Zither but continued with their conversation. Their conversation comes to a stop when the Zither stops playing, and everyone realizes that they are hungry for some delicacies.

Lightning Degree Chapter 174 Spoilers

Lightning Degree Chapter 174 will show us more about all the characters mentioned in the last chapter, with Ryeong being the main focus. The last chapter had a lot of dialogue, and then it was followed by Ryu’s deceptive Zither play. Ryu wasn’t playing the instrument for the sake of it, though. He had offered to help the dual sword wielder.

The zither play by Ryu was just a means of deception while Ryeong escaped to fight the people who had injured him earlier. This will be followed by the classic anime trope of beating an enemy while being in poorer condition than the first time. However, it is the emotion that helps carry those fights and heighten the intensity of the upcoming battle.

We will get a little snippet of what went down when Ryeong was requesting Ryu for a favor. Ryu isn’t the kind of character who does things for others unless they show a good reason for him to get involved. The other characters will also show up to help the red-haired guy in achieving his objective.
