Due to their rising popularity, KINGDOM kpop group members have caught fans’ attention! The initial seven-member group KINGDOM debuted on 18 February 2021 with their first EP, ‘History of Kingdom: Part I. Arthur,’ with the title track ‘Excalibur’ under GF Entertainment. Initially, the group consisted of Dann, Arthur, Mujin, Louis, Ivan, Jahan, and Chiwoo. However, after two years, in May 2022, the maknae Chiwoo terminated his contract with the agency due to personal reasons and left the group.
Besides their first EP, KINGDOM has also dropped three more Extended Plays, such as History of Kingdom: Part II. Chiwoo, History of Kingdom: Part III. Ivan, and History of Kingdom: Part IV. Dann. It’s only been a year since their debut. However, the kpop group has already received Asia Artist Music Focus Award and Newsis K-Expo Next Generation Hallyu Star Award.
Since their Extended Plays carry the members’ names, there is no doubt more EPs are on the way. However, since Chiwoo has recently left the group, the members may require time to make necessary changes, even in their group dynamics. Dann
Kingdom of Change
Jung Seung Bo, better known by his stage name Dann, was born on 1 November 1997 in Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. When he turned 10, Dann moved to Dubai, where attended an international English school. Besides Korean and English, he is also fluent in French and can speak a little bit of Arabic. However, his love for languages doesn’t end here since he is also trying to learn Chinese. Many fans may not know, but Dann worked as a translator in Dubai for KCON, which is very admirable.
Dann is the leader and vocalist of the KINGDOM kpop group. However, before being part of KINGDOM group members, Dann was a former member of VARSITY kpop group, which debuted in January 2017. Later in 2017, Dann auditioned for MIXNINE. Although he didn’t make it to the final, Dann secured 131st rank (among all participants) and 71st rank (among male participants only). The journey with VARSITY didn’t last long since the group separated into two in September 2018. They decided that the Chinese members would promote in China under a new name. Meanwhile, the Korean members would continue as VARSITY. However, that plan didn’t succeed as VARSITY eventually disbanded in April 2020.
Despite all challenges Dann made with KINGDOM kpop group members. He began writing and composing the group songs, including Night Air, Make Us, Fallen Star, On Air, etc. As for his leisure time, Dann enjoys watching movies, swimming, and eating Italian food. Although his journey was not painless, Dann wants to encourage younger idols going through hard times through his music. Thus, his role models are BTS Jimin, MONSTA X Jooheon, and Jay Park. Besides, his initial dream was to be an actor. So we hope he will get an opportunity to fulfill his dream!
Arthur
Kingdom of Rain
Here comes the main dancer and vocalist of KINGDOM Arthur! Jang Yun Ho, who is also known as Arthur, was born on 15 April 2000 in South Korea. Like Dann, Arthur was also a member of VARSITY kpop group. Therefore, after the disbandment of VARSITY, Arthur joined KINGDOM since he was revealed as the fourth member. Furthermore, before joining the KINGDOM members, Arthur used to do street dancing. After all, that is where he learned to dance, and we must say he is very good at it, along with urban choreography. It has been more than seven years since he started dancing.
His passion for singing and dancing began after seeing BTS Jimin’s solo stage performance in a live music show held by KBS in 2015. Besides, Arthur is a fan of BTS Jungkook. As for music, he enjoys powerful songs as well as emotional ballads. Therefore, the singer got his vocal training from Lee Seungwoo, a famous vocal trainer who was an acquaintance of his mother. According to Louis, some may find him timid, but Arthur is a very funny but sweet guy once he becomes close to others. Apart from working hard for his dream, the singer loves playing video games and table tannies. However, when it comes to work, Arthur believes in not postponing to tomorrow when things can do today, which is a very motivating message for procrastinators!

Mujin
Kingdom of Cherry Blossoms (Sakura)
Meet the main rapper and vocalist of KINGDOM kpop group Mujin! Ko Sung Ho, well-known by his stage name Mujin, was born on 20 November 2000 in Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. During his younger days, Mujin used to join the school and church choir, along with bands, since his mother also majored in music. Since he used to travel around the world, Mujin learned English in LA for 6 months and for 4 months in Vietnam.
His journey to become an idol was not exactly velvety. Initially, he had been accepted in JYP but got to know about his acceptance pretty late since his phone had broken. After leaving his previous company, Arthur asked him to join GF Entertainment. Therefore when the opportunity knocked on his door, Mujin grabbed it and gave his all for KINGDOM kpop group members. Besides his personal training, Mujin also worked on writing and composing. He had helped Dann write Night Air, Earning, Make Us.
You may surprise, but Mujin is also pretty invested in cooking which he learned from watching cook-offs and decorating. He loves collecting props to decorate his room. Furthermore, Mujin likes playing the piano. He admires BIGBANG G-Dragon and soloist B.I. Since it is his wish to collab with G-Dragon, hopefully, he will get this chance in the future!
Louis
Kingdom of Aesthetic (Beauty)
Yang Dong Sik, also known by his stage name Louis, was born on 8 April 2001 in South Korea. His journey to being a part of KINGDOM kpop group members is refreshing and unique. During his school days, Louis participated in the school’s dance club. Being on the stage, along with his dance club members, and the sound of applause brought him an adrenaline rush which eventually led him toward his dream and idol life.
Before becoming a member of KINGDOM group, Louis was trained for three years. During his rough times, it was BTS and BIGBANG who motivated him to continue chasing his dream. Therefore, despite all difficulties, Louis loves singing and dancing on the stage. Besides, he was the first member to join GF Entertainment. As for his free time, Louis likes spending his time listening to music, playing games, and long drives. Louis also admires and loves puppies and has one named Iseul. Despite his goofy, mischievous appearance, he has a fierce personality. However, the singer also holds a golden heart as he cares about all of his members and fans. Therefore, often he is of the mood makers in the group.

Ivan
Kingdom of Snow
Ivan is the lead vocalist and visual of KINGDOM! Park Yoo Sung, well-known by his stage name Ivan, was born on 12 October 2001 in Jeollabuk-do, South Korea. Becoming a part of KINGDOM kpop group members never came easily for him. At age of 17, Ivan decided to be an idol and chase his dream. Ivan started his trainee period when he was a freshman in high school. He was also trained under SM Entertainment. However, his resolve lasted only two years. Eventually, at 19 age, Ivan changed his career path and was determined to pursue acting. Therefore he left SM Entertainment to study acting in college.
However, once to be an idol dream emerged as he was then cased by Louis. Therefore, he auditioned to become a part of KINGDOM kpop group, which he eventually passed. The signer is giving his all for the group, and when things get tough, he looks for his role models BTS and SEVENTEEN. But when it comes to his free time, Ivan plays games, Overwatch, bowling, and listens to music to calm his hustle mind. Ivan is also a black belt in Taekwondo. Although he currently focuses on his music career, Ivan wishes to debut as an actor. Despite being camera shy, he wants to act in a web drama!
Jahan
Kingdom of Sun
Finally comes the maknae, vocalist, and rapper of KINGDOM Jahan! Im Ji Hun, better known by his stage name Jahan, was born on 1 August 2002 in Jeollabuk-do, South Korea. Like many idols, Jahan started exploring the world and came across kpop. During his middle school days, he began watching various dance practice videos of idol groups. It eventually motivated him and led him on the path of becoming one himself.
Like Arthur, Jahan has been dancing for more than seven years. He even self-learned BTS’s I Need U choreography and practiced it five hours a day. Besides BTS, J-Hope and Jungkook have been his role models since the beginning. Therefore, he also self-taught popping after watching HopeKook, and he is good at it, along with beatboxing. Despite working for long hours, Jahan enjoys little free time playing Overwatch, shopping or listening to Justine Bieber’s Nothing Like Up. Although sometimes he appears to be a silent guy, Jahan is more of tsundere who cares about the members in his own ways and can skip your heartbeat!
