Kim So Jung has recently posed for the Big Issue Magazine and has also sat in an interview with them. In this latest interview So Jung has talked about various intriguing aspects of her career, one of that being her fresh and growing acting career.
Talking to the magazine, she shared her experience about wrapping up filming for her debut drama “Chilling Co-Habitation”. In this drama series, she plays the role of a woman who has this supernatural ability to see ghosts.
Commenting on the same, she said that for showcasing the ghosts, there were lots of computer graphics scenes while filming. And that constantly worried her as she was not sure about her perfection in CG acting and this being her debut project too played a big role. Though she was able to do everything properly and with perfection, and the whole crew helped her a lot with the whole process.
Explaining her career transition from singing to acting, So Jung said that everything is still fresh for her. She also pointed out that she wants to become an actress who is not limited by any boundaries. She wants to play roles of every genre in her own way. Kim So Jung has her goal set right, and that is to become a charming actress.
Also, in addition to “Chilling Co-Habitation”, So Jung’s other short-form drama, “4 minutes and 44 seconds,” is going to be released soon.
Wrapping up the interview, So Jung shared a heart-warming message for anyone who is looking to begin with something new. She said that beginnings are always the hardest part of anything new. Everything looks easy when one makes plans and thinks that it would be a cakewalk. But that’s not true. When someone begins with that plan, it is natural that it will be nerve-wracking and whatnot.
Adding further, she commented that if one overcomes that difficult time period while enjoying themselves, then everything is bound to turn out great. Everything will fall into their respective places, and there will be many people who will support them and believe in them.

Kim So Jung: A Bit About Her
Kim So Jung is popular as an actress, singer, and dancer in the South Korean entertainment industry. She was formerly known by her stage name Sowon and was the leader and a member of the South Korean girl group GFriend. She made her debut with the group in January 2015 with the release of their EP “Season of Glass”.
She was also the host of MBC’s beauty program “Look At Me” and made her runway model debut in October 2018. Her first runway was for D-ANTIDOTE at S/S Hera Seoul Fashion Week 2019. She also bagged the “Beauty Icon” titled at the 2018 Korea First Brand Awards.
Moreover, after she departed from the group on May 18, 2021, she signed a contract with IOK Company as an actress.
