Kamui, the One Standing Behind You, is an ecchi manga with comedy and supernatural themes. Before we talk about this manga, you need to know that it contains a lot of sexually explicit content, so those who don’t really enjoy reading such types can step back. But this is going to be a stupidly hilarious narrative because when you combine a ghost with some weird exorcist guy, something unusual happens.
The female lead, Mimizuka Shizuka, is just a normal high schooler who happens to see ghosts, and because of that, she lives with Kamui-san, an exorcist, for free as his assistant. Since she was a child, she had her eyes glued to her shoes because if she looked up, she would make eye contact with a bunch of ghosts around.
Until one day she crossed paths with Kamui, whom he thought to be even scarier than ghosts. Kamui is only attracted to ghosts, which makes him a freak of the highest degree, which is also one of the reasons why he lets Shizuka stay in his office apartment. She was reluctant to live alone with a man at first, but she’s used to it now.
But Shizuka is basically a bait to lure the ghost, as she has the ability to attract spirits, so Kamui can exorcize them and basically have fun with them. He basically takes Shizuka everywhere to use her as bait throughout the town, mostly wherever these types of spirits wander. He uses an awful method to exorcize these ghosts, and that’s why Shizuka thinks he’s a freak.
One of the ghosts they encounter is Teke Teke, born from an unfortunate accident; some say she roams looking for her half-lost body part. This bears some resemblance to the story of Kashima-san, who is also missing body parts, usually the arms or legs.
They are also similar in that they take the parts they’re missing from the living. It seems like Kamui would endanger Shizuka’s lower half for a parfait. She works for an extremely exploitative boss at an exploitative company, but as a result, she has found herself; she doesn’t look significantly down at her feet now.

In this chapter, a new story begins: a client visits their office who looks like an Umatsuki (a demon that’s said to possess a horse grudge for the sake of causing suffering upon humans). It’s just Kamui-san, judging by the way he looks, which was pretty rude.
This client has been looking more like a horse recently and needs help from Kamui. Well, after a long time, a guy came to their office, and Kamui is fine with it. But this horse spirit from the client’s body left and entered Shizuka’s body, as she thought her body was fit for a vessel.
Shizuka has totally turned into a horse now, and she desperately needs help from Kamui-san as she’s freaking out and crying. Moreover, now that her face has changed and she can’t even speak anymore, their master knows what to do at this moment and begins his usual method of exorcism.
Like that, the evil spirit was exorcized, and Shizuka was relieved, but seeing Kamui with that horse spirit, Shizuka could only think of one thing that came to her mind once again: that Kamui-san is a terrifying pervert.
