Jinx Chapter 29, or the series in its entirety, has everyone’s heads spinning as it becomes harder to tell what the series is about. We know one for certain through the author’s understanding well how human relations work and how to get the audience’s attention. And an important point is that this is not the series done by the author.
The author of this series has also done series like BJ Alex and Secret Star. While the latter was tame compared to the Jinx, the former falls in the Yaoi genre. And Jinx started publishing some chapters after BJ Alex, as the author undoubtedly had taken time to improve his writing. And it shows in the series itself how much he has improved since.
However, while BJ Alex had an overall vibe Jinx started in a different direction, a direction that not many liked. Even now, it is hard to forget the gruesome stuff that happened at the beginning of the series and even till very late. Though, that complexity is what makes readers gravitate toward this series, as the context makes the events all the more interesting.
And speaking of context, for the Yumejoshi’s out there, this might be the best read they have had in ages. A lot of Yaoi tend to devolve into a sludge where the top ends up being an uncaring monster. But here, it is the other way around, and the reversal of situations is what makes readers stick to this series. Metaphorically speaking.

Jinx Chapter 29: Story So Far
Here is a round-up of events so far till Jinx Chapter 29. It will be a long one. Kim Dan is no longer at the mercy of his loan sharks as Jaekyung took care of it. But it leads to an unspoken agreement between the two that Jaekyung owns the doc now, and he has no free will.
In the beginning, Kim Dan was accepting to be ravaged by the MMA player every day, but nothing happened. Making him drop his guard and even think that he got the free pass from all that would have happened. But he was naive as usual and had not learned from the hard lessons of life.

One day Jaekyung decided to get his end of the deal from the doc and decided it was time that his slave enters the dark side. Kim Dan had no idea what was coming, but when Jaekyung began, the doc started to lose his very dignity. Jaekyung had Kim Dan in the palm of his hand at this point, but something unexpected happened.
A call from Doc’s hospital at night made Kim forget everything that he owed Jaekyung and release him from his grip. And addressing Jaekyung as a selfish person that doesn’t care about the lives of people and someone who is too drowned in pleasure. This brought a big change in Jaekyung, and he has been thinking highly of Doc since then.
Jinx Chapter 29: Will Things Get Bad From Here?
Jinx Chapter 29 will bring us out of the pool (whether literally or not remains to be seen) and start the new story arc. At this point, it seems that there is no conflict between the characters, and nothing could go wrong. If anything, the last few chapters feel like things have gotten safe for our characters.
However, this story wouldn’t be appealing if there is nothing wrong happening in the future, and that is what we subconsciously realize. Things don’t go bad all of a sudden in the series. Instead, they come little by little until we see the result. Not good for the well-being of characters and even readers sometimes, but curiosity keeps readers going.
This will be the case again in the story as we will see the character enter a new arc with new challenges and problems. One of which will be Jaekyung’s shoulder injury, that got mentioned two chapters ago. And the other will be the involvement of Potato in the main plot or if he will be important enough to be part of the main story at all.
