IVE is a South Korean girl group formed by Starship Entertainment. The group consists of six members: Yujin, Gaeul, Rei, Wonyoung, Liz, and Leeseo. The Selfie And Tiktok Classes Offered To The Members Of IVE:
The group IVE revealed that they were given selfies and TikTok classes when they were trainees. On the 14th of April, an episode that appeared on the YouTube channel ‘Civilization Express’ hosted by Jaejae was released. Jaejae asked the members a few questions during the broadcast, and Ive’s youngest member Leeseo said that there is a unique curriculum of teaching in the Starship agency.
Gaul added to Leeseo and said that they had selfie lessons in the first class. Jaejae asked surprised whether the members of IVE are joking or telling the truth! For which IVE’s Eugene replied that she was very poor at taking selfies so she had to take two photos per day and get approval from their instructor and that was her daily goal. In addition to that, the IVE members announced that they even had a TikTok class in the second half of the training period.
Regarding the TikTok class, IVE Rei said that she had to take a TiktTok video and get approval for it from their teacher. She said that if they send the Tiktok video from the dorm by taking the video themselves, they get feedback to improve like asking them to try out a particular expression for a specific part. IVE members also practiced editing hearts and other things as they had to add the filters to the video themselves. When this fact was announced, netizens shared their thoughts as to how the 4th generation idols were busier than other people thought, taking TikTok classes and selfie classes. While one remarked that these classes weren’t good for nothing as they were more professional than people could ever imagine.
Yuji revealed that she was so bad at capturing selfies of herself that she had to send a few photos of her daily to their instructor. After being trained in these, her skills improved and Yujin and the others members became a pro at this. This curriculum of selfie and Tiktok Classes were introduced after Wonyoung and Yujin’s debut with IZ*ONE in 2018.

Meanwhile, IVE made a comeback with the second single ‘LOVE DIVE’ on the 5th of April. At the same time as IVE’s comeback, From SBS MTV’s ‘The Show’ and MBC M’s ‘Show Champion’, they won 2 gold medals. One week after its release, LOVE DIVE went viral and reached 200 million views on TikTok. Also, their first debut song’s music video for Eleven surpassed 100 million views on March 8, 2022.
