I Obtained A Mythic Item follows the life of Jae Hyun. A man who has been struggling all his life and has been working hard to escape his destiny. One reason why Jae Hyun has been struggling all this while is that he does not belong to any guild, meaning he has to take care of himself.
Jung Woo Min meets Jae Hyun and offers to work with him. Though the offer is not great and also not of great work, Jae Hyun actually considers it. The job Jung Woo Min offers him is really dangerous as it basically means becoming a disposable meat shield as the rest of the guild members are fighting.
This work would lead Jae Hyun to risk his life in every quest and also not give much of an advantage. The only good thing about this job is that a guild would have his back, and that is something Jae Hyun has been wanting for a long time now. So he decides to give it a go.

We saw Goo Ja In being bullied in I Obtained A Mythic Item Chapter 79. Jae Hyun wonders if Goo Ja In thinks of all this as a coincidence because he has bad luck. But obviously, as we all know, this is not a coincidence.
The guild incident was large, too, but if things went wrong, Jae Hyun would have been the one going under. He had learned something from the guild experience; his safety is important, but saving other people’s lives comes first.
Jae Hyun felt like Goo Ja In would surely come back someday as he has connections with the Aesir Gods, after all. He then learns that there will be a press conference in another three days, and that will be when they will put an end to Goo Ja In.
Now, at the National Raider Associations’ Management Headquarters, everyone was happy seeing Goo Ja In’s end. Kim Ji Yeon was also to be back as soon as she can. Things are finally going smoothly now.
Three days later, at the Lotus Guild’s Official Press Conference, Jae Hyun and Yoo Seong Eun answered all the questions of the media and public. They tell the world that Goo Ja In killed students on purpose and covered them up as accidents.

A few days later, Goo Ja In’s friends begin to gossip about what has been happening in the past few days. They know for a fact that Goo Ja In would not fall that easily. They were all, however, determined to get stronger, and Lotus Guild had promised to help them all.
Though catching up to Goo Ja In would be really tough and impossible, they were all determined to give their best. Jae Hyun did not intend to get them further involved in this matter as it was something for him to do, even though it was great if these guys wanted to get stronger.
