It is made under the production of P.A. Works Studios, and it is well set to be released on January 7, 2023. If you have watched or liked Spy × Family, this anime can become your new favorite because the premise is somewhat similar to Spy × Family leaving the spy part.
The characters in this series are not spies but are associated with some shady business like the mafia. One of the main characters is an Assassin, and the other is a criminal contractor, so you see the link, right?
If you loved Anya from Spy × Family and miss seeing her on screen, you will definitely adore the 4-year-old character from this anime. Miri is funny, charming, and adorable. Even the Assassin and the contractor fell under her charm and took her home.

About Buddy Daddies
Buddy Daddies follows the story of two friends, Kazuki Kurusu and Rei Suwa, who are into a shady profession. One accidental situation leads to the two friends taking care of a 4-year-old girl named Miri Masaka. Miri was roaming around the hotel lobby on Christmas; however, she lost her father and met Kazuki Kurusu and Rei Suwa.
The two buddies cannot leave the girl alone and take her under their care until her birth father is found; meanwhile, Miri begins to address them as her father. The anime is very wholesome and colorful, Miri is too adorable for a 4-year-old, and you can not handle her cuteness.
It would be exciting to see how these two friends, who barely communicate with others apart from their professional demands, would take the wittiness of a four-year-old who does not shy away from sharing her blunt thoughts.

Buddy Daddies Season 1 Cast and Staff
Toshiyuki Toyonaga is the voice of the main protagonist Kazuki Kurusu; Kouki Uchiyama is the voice of Rei Suwa; Hina Kino is the voice of Miri Unasaka; and Toshiyuki Morikawa is the voice of Kyuutarou Kugi.
Yoshiyuki Asai directed it, with character design by Katsumi Enami and music by Katsutoshi Kitagawa. The opening theme, “SHOCK!” is done by Ayase, while the ending theme, “My Plan,” is performed by DURDN.
